Located in a quiet area, outdated and very noisy guest house with bad beds.

The price-performance ratio wasn't right. For the fairly high breakfast price there wasn't even scrambled eggs or a fruit salad. The room is getting old and could have been cleaner.

We had the apartment, unfortunately it was very warm in the upper part and there were also some spider webs. The bathroom was good except for the lack of a shower. You would have to shower in the bathtub, which was unfortunately built into a slope. As a small person, I was able to shower relatively well there, everyone else less so. However, getting into the bathtub is very dangerous for smaller and older people as there was no mat in the bathtub and it was very slippery. The breakfast was great and the service too.

We were there for the second time. Unfortunately, this time there was no staff there at all, only a telephone bell. The rooms are okay, have different floor plans, which is very nice. This time we had a rather smaller room. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not particularly well cleaned and the shower cubicle door was broken. We will definitely look for another hotel for our next stay.

The Villa Herzog is located a little back from the street but is very convenient to traffic. The rooms are cozy and functionally furnished. The employees respond to complaints quickly and reliably.

We wanted to have a nice weekend with friends in Dresden Loschwitz. From the outside, in the dark, the hotel looks really nice and for €160 a night we expected the same ambience inside. (especially since the pictures on the website also looked very nice....)The doorman was very friendly, the hallway was nice. The room we were assigned was a shock. Very, very small, furniture from the 80s and it smelled like a drain. We were incredibly disappointed and informed the doorman, who immediately called the owner. He wasn't willing to help us out with another room or only for a surcharge... because the other room was bigger... (with different price information for us and our friends... serious is something else)In the end we got the other room or small apartment (with an agreed small surcharge, which no one could remember when we left on Sunday?! Guys!!!)..well...we were able to sleep well...despite the same old furniture , the squeaky bed and some stuffiness from the old furniture...but at least it was very spacious. However, our friends also had problems with their room! The breakfast was probably not satisfactory either, although the porter (who apparently does everything there) really tried hard!!!!!!All in all...the hotel is in urgent need of renovation! Starting with the windows, the bathrooms and the furnishings!! So in conclusion it cannot be recommended. I am really sorry.

The ambience and service is top! The only drawback is some of the staff, at least one service person...Fr.P. W. This person is known to us from various other hotel/catering establishments... and unfortunately he still lives up to his bad reputation...Whether theft, embezzlement or bullying, at least it is versatile. The drug and alcohol addiction ultimately has to be financed. She is inherently very friendly and this is particularly evident in her dealings with the additional staff. She lacks eye level and respect, even towards newcomers, trainees, temporary workers...Unfortunately, what didn't always go unnoticed by the guests...It has often appeared so emotionally-impulsive and disproportionate that you should really consider whether you want to accept it if in doubt!I can only appeal to you, pay attention! She is dishonest to the bone...!At first glance, she can "sell" herself really well, but she's a scurrying fake snake! You should not expect loyalty or an appropriate way to end the employment relationship.condescending, disproportionate and scheming towards her colleagues. And when you question her actions or want to end the AV, she tells, if necessary with tears, (she's been around for 10 years now), the always same, touching story of separation and chaos in her life.. Forms one, that would be an excuse for her dishonorable, egotistical actions, well, unfortunately it works at the beginning...and she tricks herself into pity and the favor of the employer...until the rude awakening comes!!! It's not without reason that employers always end the employment contract. And it hasn't been able to last longer than 0.5 months to 1.5 years! That probably speaks for itself...I can only advise you to choose your staff more carefully. Because your house is immaculate and should stay that way. All the best and best wishes from the brewery🍻

The villa is furnished with the charm of antique furniture and is therefore very cozy, which was rounded off with a lovingly prepared breakfast buffet. Almost every wish was fulfilled very warmly. We'd love to come back! A big thank you!!!
