Walk about 70 meters down a narrow road from the lively Forest Monkey Street in Ubud, Bali, and it will be on your right. The narrow road is a little bumpy, but it's okay even with a suitcase.Forest Monkey Street, which is located off a narrow road, is lively with many Starbucks, convenience stores, and spas right in front of you.Despite its location, it is a quiet bungalow surrounded by rice fields that feels like another world. It is surrounded by much more greenery and rice fields than tourist spots such as rice terraces, and you can enjoy the wonderful scenery typical of Ubud.We recommend a room with a view of the pool and rice fields, even if it is a little expensive.Walking distance to Ubud Palace and Monkey Forest. The room is surprisingly spacious and the view from the balcony is spectacular. There are no insects and no humidity. The bed is also comfortable. The air conditioner is also working well.Breakfast is simple. The entrance was difficult to find, but perhaps because we had informed them of our plans in advance, a staff member was waiting for us near the entrance. It was such a comfortable bungalow that I felt reluctant to go out.I would like to visit again.I highly recommend it.

I really liked it here. Very kind and helpful staff. Not a shiney luxurious hotel, rather quaint. But that's not what you should be expecting for this fair price. Instead homey and clean enough. Good aircon, small but fine breakfast and smack in the middle of ubud. Walking distance to anything you need and also some of the main sites.Calm and quiet feeling in between rice paddies. Very nice pool, maybe one suggestion would be to add a couple more sunbeds. The small alley leading to the hotel may look uncomfortable at first. But i grew to love strolling it and saying hello to the local family living here. Completely safe:)Edit 2024: still fantastic! We travelled as a couple this time. Enjoyed every moment and contrary to popular opinion very much enjoyed the small breakfast every day. Small but great!

Stayed for 3 nights from early August. Below are my findings.Access: Located on the side of the countryside, down a small alley from Monkey Forest Street (about 1 minute), free from noise. MF Street is one of Ubud's downtown areas, so it is lined with convenience stores and other miscellaneous shops. You should be able to get most things done. My room, called Lotus, was on the first floor facing the countryside, and I could enjoy a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing atmosphere. There was also a small pool. The location is perfect. As mentioned above, the train travels along an alley, so no cars are allowed to enter, and passengers must get off the train somewhere at the entrance of the street and carry their luggage, so users should be aware of this in advance.Facilities: When you enter the hotel entrance, you check in and check out at a counter that is usually empty (?). When tourists come, there is no need to worry as the staff will come out from the side office/kitchen(?). The large glass windows and walls are also nice so you can see the countryside in front of you. The owner's design is stylish, and lotus patterns can be seen throughout the interior. Amenities: Tea/facilities include Mineral W, tea/coffee packs, etc. (which can be changed at any time if you ask), a small refrigerator (which cools perfectly), bath towels/towels, free Wifi (which is not slow or intermittent), a safety box, Basic items such as storage, clothing, chest of drawers, and air conditioning are provided. Separate bathtub and shower (large shower head on top and two movable shower heads directly below). This may be out of consideration for Japanese customers (?). Clean bathrooms and toilets, including water. I wonder if it's okay even for people who are a clean freak. Breakfast starts at 7am and can be ordered the day before or in the morning. The main dish is based on white bread or pancakes (your choice) and egg dishes (scramble, fried egg, or omelet), a fruit combination of banana, watermelon, and papaya, and Balinese coffee. Being able to enjoy this while looking out at the countryside while enjoying the fresh morning air, I have to say that it is luxurious and delicious. The staff are Balinese and several men who can understand Japanese to some extent. Everyone was friendly and the action was quick and there were no problems.Others: The landlord is a Japanese woman living in Bali. Considering the accommodation costs and other conditions, this is a very reasonable accommodation and is highly recommended. We were able to secure a place to stay early on, but there must be a lot of repeat visitors for that reason, and it must be difficult to make reservations at the last minute. Next time I come to Ubud, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The owner is a Japanese woman. Unfortunately, I did not feel the consideration given to Japanese guests that I had expected. Especially not recommended for first-time travelers to Ubud. The guide who helped us there also had doubts about the attitude of the hotel service.

Been coming here for years... and the hotel has a convenient location... in the middle of Monkey Forest Street. From the busy street you walk into a corridor and after about 50 meters you reach the entrance of the hotel... you don't hear anything anymore. from the street. The standard rooms are very spacious...and the more luxurious rooms have a TV. There is also a swimming pool. Staff always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple, but for little money you can eat somewhere down the street.

Although it is located in the center of Ubud, it is very quiet. Perfect for walking around town. However, the water pressure was very weak. The water in the sink was so weak that I couldn't even wash my hands properly, and I had to go to the shower booth to wash my face. When I complained to the staff, they told me that they could not repair it during the festival. Water was leaking from the side of the shower head in the booth, making it difficult to take a shower. Also, I stayed in a top class room, but was there staff housing in the basement and third floor? I couldn't calm down. Can you call it a bungalow? . A room in front of the pool might be better.I asked for a shuttle, but my driving skills were poor and the car was in disrepair. I was embarrassed when I went into the next hotel. At least, I felt that the cost performance was poor for the room I stayed in.

This is a great location and standard rooms, very relaxing and breakfast made to your room.Desk worker, Negha, was so helpful to contact drivers, trips, and had wonderful recommendations for places to go. He made sure to check in during and after each trip to ensure our experience is up to standard.

The room was clean, spacious, and above all quiet, allowing us to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature such as birds and small animals.Breakfast was also delicious on the balcony. It was great to be able to eat at our own pace. The attentiveness of the staff was also wonderful. We asked this exclusive driver to take us on a private tour and transport us to our next accommodation.I was able to fully enjoy Ubud without the stress of arranging tour companies and taxis. He is a kind and safe driver. This is a recommended inn with good location, facilities, and environment.
