Great, new and modern hotel where you can check in and out without staff. The room was nice and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Beds very comfortable and a warm blanket 😉 Since we left very early, it wasn't a problem for us that there was no breakfast. We would miss this if we stayed longer. Otherwise everything is fine.

Flowerily advertised as an innovative, digital and green hotel concept - in reality a margin maximization concept!On the group's homepage you can read "... through the use of smart technologies, we guarantee our guests a contemporary travel experience and at the same time integrate them into the usual processes of a hotel stay. In this way, we create more ease and simplify the processes for everyone involved, so that our guests get more out of their stay."That's not wrong, but ultimately it's half the truth. Actually, it's about the hotel operator getting more out of the guests' stay.... checking in themselves, fetching kitchen utensils from the basement, etc.This would all be OK if either the staff that would be relieved were available in a particularly hospitable manner elsewhere, or if the price were particularly low if there were fewer staff. But neither is the case.The concept is simply "the guest does part of the work and we make more profit".The fact that many guests perceive this in the same way can be seen from the 3.x reviews of the Koncept Hotels properties... just google it.Incidentally, this concept is only "innovative" in Germany: it has been around for a long time in our eastern and southern neighbors, and also worldwide. The difference is that with such self-service hotels you either find “best price in town”, or a location with affordable conditions that would otherwise be unaffordable, or another special experience. But here you get a cheap building on the outskirts of the city with sometimes cramped rooms for the regular price of a full-service hotel.What would be really innovative is a concept in which digital technologies are used in such a way that the - existing - staff and/or the saved costs are used to offer the guest a very special service experience elsewhere.

Great sustainable hotel in Tübingen. The old town is only 2km away. Good connection to public transport - parking garages in the city are also easy to reach.The rooms are properly equipped, there is a small kiosk in the basement. Short and long stay possible.Parking is a bit tight here - but a parking garage is available and is 500m away on foot.All in all, very well maintained and reasonably priced.

Room good. Reminds me a little bit of a student dormitory. Service doesn't work at all. Only check in at the terminal, NO staff. Wrong booking numbers were sent so no check in and customer service couldn't even help. No call back from KD.

We think there are comparatively few hotels in Tübingen, which is very convenient for us to visit family here. No staff on site (except the cleaning team of course), we really like the concept. There are utensils on site (dishes, cutlery, etc.) as well as some food (cereals, milk, spaghetti, sauces) to take into your room (food and drinks for fair money). We always enjoy coming back.

Arriving with a code the door should open. Doesn't work. Then you have to check in yourself. Everything is not easy, even for young people.You have to make a phone call and then you will get information.The double room that we booked was more of a single room.

As a professional permanent guest, I can now easily share my experiences.The first contact with check-in is complicated. It wasn't just me at the time, I regularly observed it with other guests at check-in.However, if you check in online in advance and then use the digital room card, which you receive as a link on the day of arrival (no need to register a card at the terminal), then everything is really easy.Now to the essential thing, that hotel. It is modern and new.I think the concept behind it is great, I need e.g. a microwave, but not a full kitchen with accessories. Everything you need in the kitchen can be found in the basement (even groceries).The room is modernly furnished. Even with sensible roller shutters and not, as is often the case, “blackout curtains”.I sleep great in bed, but that's also a matter of personal preference.However, what really disturbs my personal experience is the incredible warmth in the hotel when it is warm outside. You can't block the heat or get it out. It's a shame, sensible building ventilation with night-time cooling should certainly have been considered when designing the building. A climate would of course also work, but whether the “green thumbprint” still works like that ;).My experience, ask for a room facing the back, there is only the morning sun here.Last but not least, the tiresome topic of doors.I am aware that fire doors have to close, but why do they have to slam? You sometimes stand vertically in bed when there is still activity in the house at night.Maybe we can optimize this ;).Otherwise, I can recommend the hotel to anyone who doesn't necessarily want to explore everything on foot in the middle of the city. This hotel is too far out of the way for that.There is a bus stop nearby.Conclusion: I only book here for work and recommend it to anyone who asks me about accommodation in Tübingen.I can live with the shortcomings.

Perfect! The hotel is very modern, clean and clear in appearance. Inside, the rooms have been very carefully designed and furnished with high-quality materials. The service is also good. We had a problem and called the phone number listed there and immediately got a very helpful person on the line. Problem solved. We would stay here again and again. Unfortunately we haven't found another location yet.

I like the concept with self check in and digital key. The room is spacious and modern. Always important to me: great shower.I didn't like the noise from the hallway (the doors that close are really loud when they slam!) and the lack of air conditioning. The staff knocked at around 9 a.m., and on the second night I put the do not disturb sign on the door.

A modernly furnished hotel on the outskirts of Tübingen. Check-in is self-service, and all kitchen equipment (from tea bags to plates) must be carried into the room from the kiosk in the basement. The third time you have to leave because you forgot the kettle, it becomes increasingly annoying.However, the most outstanding example of failed digitization of processes in this hotel is the promise printed on the floor in the entrance area that no checkout is necessary - à la "just throw the keycard in the box and that's it". However, on a Sunday morning, well before checkout time, the staff wakes you up with a loud knock on the room door. In our case, the employee opened the door almost at the same time and wanted to enter our room “just to check”. Without a seamless checkout process, you don't know which guests may have already left - but you still want to start cleaning early. When I complained by email, all I got was the explanation that we basically just had to hang the do not disturb sign on the door handle. So our duty - why should one expect the standards that apply there in a self-service hotel for the price of a hotel with present and well-trained staff.

Fully digital! If you don't need a restaurant or a bar, you're in good hands here - great rooms, really big including kitchen etc.There is also a well-stocked vending machine. The location above Tübingen is a bit remote (approx. 5 minutes by car to the center) but super quiet. I'd love to come back. The digital check-in didn't work, but the telephone hotline at 1 a.m. - not everyone can do that - a minimal deduction - what the hell does that smell in the hallway?? Guest the floor is still out??? Cleaner??? Oh yes and there is also a small parking problem - you have to search a bit every now and then or walk 200 meters - but I could live with that very well!

We will never book here again! No goodwill at all, absolutely unfriendly. In my opinion, a terrible way to run a hotel. Obviously, satisfied customers are not relevant for the hotel.We will use established hotels again in the future.
