Conveniently located, free parking, good and cheap breakfast, large family room. However, the beds were too soft for me - everything else was good. Very good value for money. Recommended for an overnight stay due to transit.

Great hotel for a transit trip, but the town of Pfortheim is a disaster for an unknown motorist, as there are speed cameras everywhere within 30 km. zone and you are therefore almost certain of a "print"

Very nice room with a good ensuite bathroom. A lot of money has obviously been spent on redecorating and updating this hotel. It is not really within walking distance of the main facilities of the town. A good breakfast and pleasant staff. I have only given 4 stars for the room which seems a bit mean, purely because the 1 pillow provided is one of the most uncomfortable I have ever had to sleep on!

A great hotel with an impressive history - aristocrats were already staying here when the Westweg opened. A touch of that time can still be felt at the breakfast table today. The rooms were very clean and the service was friendly and accommodating. Overall, a very pleasant experience that wonderfully combines tradition and modernity.

I spontaneously booked for two nights on my hiking tour. The owner gave a very friendly welcome and since there was only one room available, I was allowed to look at it before booking. This was very spacious in terms of space, as it was actually a family room, very tastefully furnished (apart from two probably slightly older chairs, but they are not crucial to the war), clean and bright. The bathroom was beautifully renovated with underfloor heating, a hairdryer and a rain shower. The price was more than fair at €55 per night.I can't say anything about breakfast in this case, as I usually don't eat breakfast on site, but the dining room is pretty and stylish to look at, as befits the hotel's name. The location is ideal for reaching various hiking destinations - Würmtal, Monbachtal, Goldene Pforte Pforzheim an der alten Nagold. For dinner I stopped at the nearby "Kupferhammer" - also highly recommended. There is delicious food, a diverse selection at really fair prices and very friendly staff.I can expressly recommend the hotel and would come here again.Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Friendly people and good service in the hotel. Very good price. I will not recommend the hotel if you have difficulty walking because of the many steps, but perhaps something is possible if you inquire about this
