HARBR. hotel Konstanz

Pleasant hotel about 20-30 minutes walk from the city center.Unfortunately, most of the rooms are on a busy street, so you won't be able to sleep at night without an oropax. You should have a pack of earplugs ready for guests in every street-facing room.The rooms are well furnished, the beds are wide and comfortable with very good mattresses. If the existing blanket and pillows are not enough, you can order additional ones. The room has a small safe, not a classic wardrobe but a rack with about 5 hangers. There is no minibar, although the bar and reception are open 24 hours, so you can get water or drinks there if necessary.The bathroom is well equipped with soap, shampoo and shower gel dispensers. The shower is quite spacious and has floor-to-ceiling access.Unfortunately, the window can only be tilted, so only a little fresh air comes in. At our time, the air conditioning was set to the heating function at 25 degrees too warm. You couldn't regulate this individually, which I found unfortunate as the outside temperatures were high in late summer. The night porter was not authorized to "work" on the AC; This is only possible through the director the following day. Too bad!The entire lobby has a tasteful interior design and offers various very comfortable seating options. It was relaxing to end the late summer evening here with a chilled drink after a walk through the city. I just didn't like the very dominant electronic music. A good mix of pop, rock, blues, folk or classic at a decent volume would have been better for my taste - or even without sound for a while.I would have liked to have eaten something else on the first evening. Unfortunately, this was not possible due to illness and a lack of staff.The breakfast buffet was excellent and offered everything your heart could desire. It was very extensive. It was constantly refilled if something ran out at peak times.The staff consisted of a quite young, helpful and friendly team. Requests were fulfilled immediately, and the service in the bar/lobby as well as at breakfast in the morning was very attentive.

The hotel is very centrally located, the rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet is rich and tasty. I always feel very comfortable in this hotel.

We (my husband and I) are now on short vacation in Harbr for the third time.The second time with our three small children and once we were alone in Harbr to visit the Christmas market.We have always been impressedthe great location, the tastefully furnished rooms and the delicious breakfast.I would particularly like to mention the extremely friendly staff and the warm treatment of children.Children are “really welcome” hereWe'd love to come back!

We stayed there for one night during our move to Konstanz.Everything fine!

Rooms and hotel modern and nicely furnished. Hygiene concept at breakfast very questionable. For two hours, the tables, the floor (!), and then the tables, the breakfast buffet and chairs were wiped with the same cloth. The use of gloves should also be reconsidered. If everything from the cloth to the coffee, cutlery, etc. is handled with the same gloves, it no longer has anything to do with hygienic work.

I had to park 2km from the hotel!!!

Hotel unspectacular from the outside, but modernly furnished from the inside. Rooms were okay. Relatively small, but clean! Rooms facing the street are so loud that you can't sleep at night.There is also a deduction for parking. There are only about 30 parking spaces directly at the hotel, so you're out of luck if you come back in the evening. We had to stand in a parking garage further away the entire time. We didn't like it at all. We also didn't like the surroundings directly at the hotel. You can get to the Rhine quickly, but we experienced extremely suspicious audiences there. In the evening there was no going through the park at all.The breakfast, however, was great. The selection was great, it was regularly refilled and cleared away. If you are there with 4 people, you just have to be lucky to get a large table. In the evening you can sit in the entrance area and have a drink or a snack.

Great rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast

Overall, I had a very comfortable stay at the HARBR hotel Konstanz. The hotel is located about a 15-20 minutes walk from the station and old town and is a modern, well maintained building.The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. The one quibble that I had was that the check-in process was rather convoluted, requiring you to input a lot of data/photos of ID from your mobile phone, but I got there in the end. Check-out was easy.Our room was pleasant, very bright and clean. The front desk crew were able to get us a kettle but the room lacked any sort of fridge (a very small gripe). Breakfast was included in our deal and the range and quality of the items offered was good.I would stay here again.
