We often go here for breakfast. We weren't in the hotel. Very good breakfast buffet. Already have the next appointment :-)

Great food; we had dinner there twice. Always great food. The first time, we had a great waitress, a true professional! The second time, the service was unsatisfactory. I got the wrong kind of beer, and I was told after I've ordered a favorite dish on the menu that it was no longer available (it should be mentioned ahead or noted in the menu). That's disappointing. After dinner, we had asked for the bill, and we're told by the waitress, "I'll be right there." Ten minutes later, we got up and walked to the front, where we asked again for the bill. There we were told by a make employee, "Well, the waitress also needs a break sometimes"! Really, while on duty, knowing there are customers to attend to? We are sorry to have interrupted her smoke break!

Room without daylight!!!!In front of the window the wall of the neighboring house is 80 cm away.According to the advertising: little daylight.According to the advertisement: view of the courtyard.By the way, the escape route is a grill below the window,Restaurant and service were good and nice.

We were in Wangen for a weekend at the State Garden Show and booked a room at the Mohrenpost. We were very satisfied, we really liked the Grafenzimmer, large and clean. A bit noisy, but very centrally located. The breakfast was also perfect, everything was sufficient.The dinner also tasted excellent. Everything was wonderful, the hotel can be recommended.

Good food, but it was really crowded in the evening, which is of course noticeable with the noise level...Service for 3. However, very long walking distances, which means you have to wait a long time for drinks, etc. Come and everyone is very friendly even when there is a lot of stressI can't rate the room because I didn't stay there

I have not stayed here but I have used the restaurant.|The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The night we went the place was buzzing the whole place had a nice feeling. ||The food was not fine dining but well prepared, appetizing and tasty. ||I would not hesitate to eat there again when in Wangen

Today we went to the Mohren Post with our visitor for a late lunch.The outside tables were all occupied, so in the pub.As soon as we were inside, we were kindly told which tables were free.A very nice waitress took the order and drinks were served immediately.We ordered 3x currywurst because it was recommended to us by visitors.These were served with attentive words by a friendly waiter after a short wait.The fries were crisp and fresh, but I found the curry sauce to be too bland at the beginning - that was a mistake.With every bite it gained in spice and taste, which was also what my guests felt.A successful stay with good service.An extra thank you goes to Lena, who served us with a friendly, beaming smile. :-)

Unfortunately the restaurant has deteriorated over time. We had two rump steaks, both were tough, the fries were soft, the side salad was off the shelf and ketchup came in a plastic bag. At €29 per main course, it feels more like check-out than down-to-earth cuisine.

Unfortunately very disrespectfulToday I ordered an Alpine style burger without bacon. After about 45 minutes of waiting, my burger with bacon arrived.I told the waitress that I ordered without bacon and therefore wanted to cancel the meal. Because of the long wait, I didn't want to have a burger anymore. However, the waitress replied that the chef would immediately prepare a burger without bacon because she couldn't cancel the order.Finally my burger arrived and it was apparently without bacon. I ate 1/4 and then noticed that there was a strip of bacon left in the burger. In order not to cancel the order, the waitress/chef decided to cheat the customers and simply try to take down the bacon.I was assured that I would get a new burger without bacon.The complaint was received in a very unprofessional manner and the request to speak to the supervisor was simply ignored. Neither the waitress nor the chef apologized.It's a shame that customers' wishes are ignored in order to make a profit.The friendliness leaves a lot to be desired!!!!

Actually, I don't want to talk about the hard work of the Germans, but...Inns and accommodations that bear the name “zur Post” traditionally have good, honest cuisine where guests are looked after by excellent service. Hotel Mohren Post is definitely one of them. Only… you can have breakfast until 9 a.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. Maybe it's due to the current staff shortage.But vacation also means sleeping in, chilling out, slowing down.
