I spent one night in this hotel. Too bad the bathroom and toilets are far from the bedroom. The carpet in room 10 needs to be replaced. The stairs are quite dangerous. The bathroom is very narrow. On the other hand, very clean. The staff is welcoming. I tried to speak to them in German, the manager was very understanding. A delicious meal. Even if the service had hiccups like forgotten desserts. The parking lot is also a little small.

During our return trip from Italy we found this hotel via Google. Very close to the A5 motorway. Upon arrival at 8:30 PM it was no problem to check in and be able to eat outside on the terrace.The room was neatly clean and fresh.Great hotel for a transit trip. Definitely something to remember for next time.

Stopped here while travelling to the Netherlands. We booked a room with an on suite bathroom. Due to an error of Booking.com we were provided with a room which had an on suite shower but the WC was on the landing and had to be shared with other rooms.The room was large and very comfortable. Everything was spotless including the landing WC.Our dog was accepted to stay with us for a small payment of 7 euros.The proprietor showed us the booking on his computer which clearly identified that the problem was with Booking.com. To pacify us the proprietor offered us a cup of tea and a beer.We ate in the restaurant.ITypically they start eating early and close early.The food was excellent and the service was very good. All the personnel were very friendly.We would recommend booking directly with the hotel to avoid problems.(Booking.com did not respond to my complaint) .

On the way to Italy and back we stayed at the Gasthaus Sonne. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. We traveled with a large dog, which was also totally uncomplicated and he was very welcome. The room with a terrace is particularly recommended! Vörstetten is a wonderful little place. We would like to come again!

Pleasant accommodation near Freiburg, with dinner and breakfast options. The boy who greeted us upon arrival was most pleasant and helpful. The rooms are simple, they only have a sink and shower inside the room. The bathroom is outside in the hallway (a small inconvenience for those who get up at night, like me)

Small, friendly and homely guest house. Good prices and a good parking situation. Mind the toilets and the shower aren't located within your room but shared on the floor. Besides that: Exactly what I was looking for.

Only had 1 night on a trip. Completely sufficient for sheep. No toilet, no shower in the room, everything in the hallway, no breakfast offer. All of this is something very problematic for the future if planned for a long time. The innkeepers are very friendly.

We received a very friendly welcome when we visited with friends. We were served very quickly and friendly. The good service and the excellent food were enthusiastically received by our friends. The subsequent dessert and espresso also received full marks here.That was one of many visits to the Sonne guesthouse. That's why Mr. Ühlein doesn't understand your rating in any way.

I'm not in the habit of leaving negative comments, but in this case it's inevitable. Let me explain, the room was clean but quite old. Single glazing above the bed, plastic shower curtain, no air conditioning, very dark... plus the village church rings every half hour, so it's impossible to sleep later than 6 a.m. Quality glazing would have solved this problem.What justifies 1 star is not so much the hotel but rather the service. The person checking in does not speak a single word of English. We had booked via Booking, leaving our bank details so that the hotel could charge the amount due, but we were far from imagining that a member of staff would come and knock on our room door at 11 p.m.!!! to ask us to pay for the room... well, no one was present when we checked out at 8:30 a.m....In short, if you want calm and a minimum of service and consideration for customers, don't go there!

Very nice restaurant, great service and very good food. The beer garden is beautifully situated under a large chestnut tree. We'll definitely come back. Congratulations to Khaled Al Homsi's team!

Booked an overnight stay, personal check-in was easy. The beer garden is in a very idyllic location and also has a good wine list and very tasty local food. Our room was very spacious and clean. We would be happy to come back when we are nearby. Everything was organized very professionally, good luck...

Dinner came very quickly despite being busy. The meat was absolutely tender. I would have liked to bathe in the rhubarb and elderberry spritz. The service was very attentive and came immediately. Gladly again.
