As my husband has already written, we were very satisfied with the friendly service from the innkeeper Kostas. The historic building and the view of the market square are impressive. There really is a bit of a medieval atmosphere 👍If you have a little more time to explore the area, there are many hiking trails. That made me curious and should we be in the area again, we would like to come back to the Stadtschänke.

Great, rustic 550 year old half-timbered house/hotel with a Greek restaurant.Of course, a simple, small room - but that was clear and wanted to us when we booked. But bright and beautifully historic.The innkeeper's service for accommodation, dinner and breakfast was particularly excellent - really great 👍🏻

We were at the restaurant for dinner. Therefore no rating for the rooms is possible. Very attentive service employee. The chef also made his rounds. The food was beautiful and lovingly prepared. The portions are absolutely fair for the price and you really feel full. Special requests are possible. Card payment is also possible. There was seating outside, so you could also sit outside when the weather was nice. We were there during the week and had reserved. There was still space, but the dining room is not huge. That's why calling makes sense. It is a cozy guest room that matches the half-timbered style of the inn. There are Greek and Swabian dishes. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night. Costa, the innkeeper gave us a very friendly welcome, the room was very nice with a view of the market square, the breakfast was huge, we were very satisfied. Thank you Costa, we would love to come back, Hesse Klaus and Edeltraud

Was received very warmly and lively. There is a restaurant directly below the rooms in a small alley with a few tables, food and drinks. Parking spaces within walking distance. Rustic location, half-timbered house in a busy place, rooms equipped with the essentials, nothing is missing. If you like architecture and quiet, historic towns, you should go exploring.

We came from Berlin and were warmly welcomed by Costas in the evening. As soon as we walked into the inn it was clear to us: THIS IS HOME AND YOU DON'T WANT TO LEAVE HERE! The entire building exudes a super relaxed atmosphere!The ambience is beautiful with a certain old-fashioned charm that you definitely have to experience!The rooms are super cuteAnd really, we were totally surprised by the gifts on the pillows, because this is not a given, we got a great, lavish breakfast for two people!Unfortunately we were only there for one night and in my opinion that wasn't even enough! A longer stay here is really worth it! With the nice innkeeper and mistress!WE WILL BE BACK DEFINITELY !!AND I CAN ONLY RECOMMEND THE GASTHOF TO YOU!

Had dinner there today. It was super tasty, very good portions and friendly service. Can definitely be recommended. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to go there again. Hopefully the weather will be nicer to sit outside. Big praise to the team

The Swabian Greek lives up to his name! Great food with great service! Beautifully prepared fresh food and a wonderful ambience in this very old and beautiful building! We'll definitely come back!!!
