Awful arrogant service on the reception. Disgusting old rooms. Our room was uncleaned from previous people so we had to ask to change it. The receptionst told us that this is normal for hotels in Germany - I don't think so! I also didnt receive receipt for the paid parking for our two cars.

At the beginning of October we booked two rooms for two nights with our son and would be happy to come back at any time for anyone who doesn't want to read so much.My report describes our impressions that we gathered in the two rooms during our stay, it may be that other rooms look different.Yes, the rooms and especially the bathroom are getting old and there are a few stains on the walls and ceiling that indicate conflict with mosquitoes, the fittings in the bathroom are no longer as shiny as they once were and the silicone joints are black in some places , like in many other hotel rooms I have seen. But everything was clean and, above all, the beds were clean and comfortable, the water in the bathroom was warm and immediately available - something I've experienced in other hotels. The rooms are noisy, as was common in housing construction 50 years ago, but with their furnishings in the clear style of the late 60s, they actually have a certain charm and the view from the 10th floor is very beautiful, especially at night. The staff is very friendly and tries to accommodate your wishes.Breakfast was ok and quite varied, as I know it from many other hotels.Yes, I've seen all of this better in other hotels, but at a higher price and Mannheim center is easy to reach on foot and by train.

We stayed at the hotel at the end of August. We had already paid with the card before we looked at the rooms. After everything was taken care of at the reception, we went to the room very tired. As soon as we entered we noticed how extremely hot the room was. No air conditioning. We then went back down and checked out. We couldn't stay like that. We were told that we would definitely get our money back. They were immediately considerate, as if they had experienced it many times. They said that because we paid with a card, it could take a while until we got our money. 5 weeks later we are just being ignored!!! The manager is a big liar!!! Doesn't keep his promise to come forward. Thinks he can do that. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The employees are great!!

Overall, my rating is negative!not very clean at the reception and its surroundings…The reception ensures that everything is modern and renovated, but in practice... rooms from the 1980s and 1990s, bathrooms are from the previous decade, old solutions and average cleanliness!definitely not worth the price you have to pay for this accommodation in this "hotel"!Personally, I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Well, the house is past its best. The rooms are a bit noisy, the door in the hallway is not 100% tight (I put my suitcase on the floor in front of it) and the door to the balcony is in need of repair. Price-performance is still just okay for me. There is a large stain on the ceiling above the shower, water damage from the past. At least everything was clean. The breakfast was decent and I'll come back when it's business-related. Personally, I treat myself to something different for a few euros more.

The purest catastrophe! We booked the room as a couple with our 1.5 year old daughter.Dirty, musty, outdated rooms. The bathroom smells extremely like urine. There are strange marks on the tiles (looks like vomit). The toilet seat has stains and is loose.Ventilation is impossible because the noise outside and in the neighboring rooms is impossible. The rooms are very noisy. There is a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway as people apparently smoke in some rooms. It's so bad that your eyes burn. The door cannot be locked from the inside and looks very unsafe. After a complaint, it turned out that the hotel was overbooked and we were given a room that had not been renovated. We were allowed to move the next day and the condition was significantly better.

The sophisticated name and location near the train station belie the fact that this hotel is long past its best.Nevertheless, we experienced a reasonable price/performance ratio for one night. For the price of 54€ you probably won't get a room close to the center on a weekend anymore. We had 4 single rooms and the furnishings and condition were the same throughout. The rooms are shabby but functionally furnished. The most important thing: everything was relatively clean. The staff was very friendly and the water was warm. So what to complain about?Only the environment is really unpleasant. Due to the room climate, I slept with the balcony door open, which was OK in terms of noise, despite being close to the main road. However, around 6 a.m. some street dogs started barking incessantly. I thought there wasn't anything like that in Germany anymore and they were being captured. Apparently not here. So the night ended early.Otherwise, you should realize that the name of the hotel is no longer the program here. But it was okay so far. You can do it if you keep your demands in check.
