For me, the Motel One on Mannheim's Paradeplatz has the most beautiful facilities among the ones I know of in this group. The bar on the 4th floor is very spacious and offers comfortable seating. The cocktails are delicious and always well mixed. Small snacks are also served there. The breakfast is adequately equipped and here, too, there are enough comfortable seats compared to other Motel One hotels. The rooms are small but well equipped. Mattresses comfortable. Air conditioning in the room is great. So you can sleep well with the windows closed even in summer, despite being in the city center.I would happily recommend the Motel One Mannheim. Only the check-in should be a little more organized. 😉

As of October 19, 2024:We were very satisfied with our stay at the Motel One in Mannheim. Room was clean and quiet, and the location is great.Then why this rating?Info in advance: Check-out at this hotel is 12:00 p.m. Since we were still on the move in the morning of check-out, we left our food in the hotel room. When we returned to the room at 11:30 a.m. to get the things and check out, they were no longer in the room and had been thrown away.We reported this to reception, but they were unable to help us at this point as the house cleaning is carried out by an external company and they have to have this matter checked internally. According to the reception, if no employee from the external cleaning company admits to having made this mistake, their hands are tied. Then there would be statement against statement...Very annoying that access to the room was gained even though we hadn't checked out yet!!We are looking forward to the internal test. Until we receive feedback, we will rate this hotel with one star.The processes here urgently need to be optimized so that such incidents no longer occur in the future.

Typical MotelOne vibe - perfect all around! Super friendly staff, a more than beautiful atmosphere, great breakfast and fantastic beds 😴 and the location here in Mannheim is perfectly chosen. Thank you for this lovely stay, we would love to come back.PS: the bar and the gin concept offered there are also great as always.🤩

Great stay – barrier-free and very comfortable!We stayed at this motel for 2 nights and were very impressed. I would particularly like to emphasize the accessibility: The room and the toilet were completely wheelchair accessible, which made the stay very comfortable for me as a wheelchair user.The room was clean, modern and well equipped. The friendly and helpful staff made the stay even more pleasant. The location was also convenient and I felt completely comfortable during my stay.Thank you!!!

Luckily I didn't pay for it myself.This hotel is the lowest middle class for me. The pictures show how "destroyed" my room was when I got it. I don't understand how management tolerates this.The reception also preferred to provide alcohol to existing guests rather than checking in new guests.I would never have stayed at the hotel if it hadn't been booked and paid for in advance for me.Not recommended at all. It can definitely be worse, but it can also definitely be better.

I was in Mannheim for a business trip and stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. I was very satisfied with the stay. It is quite new and very modern and nicely decorated. There were no unpleasant noises at night. Great breakfast buffet and very friendly staff. Price performance is top.
