Very inexpensive in the heart of Heidelberg. Rooms are clean and quiet. People respect each other and everyone is super quiet there. Therefore, sleeping together in the same room with 5 more persons is not a problem at all. In addition price is really ok and since I was staying there regurally, I was getting some discount.. One can also use the kitchen to prepare some food. Milk and cornflakes are included in your stay. The people at the reception desk are particularly nice! Clear recommendation for those with limited budget.

I recently stayed at Lotte in Heidelberg for the first time, and I had a wonderful experience. The hostel was impressively clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. Its location is excellent, with a bus stop conveniently nearby, making it easy to explore the area.I arrived during lunch and was able to relax in the cozy living room and kitchen. Alison and Riccardo were fantastic hosts, always ready to help and make me feel at home. My room was spotless and had plenty of outlets, which was a nice touch. The light breakfast offered was a bonus, and I took full advantage of the four types of cereal available. The hostel is incredibly walkable, making it easy to discover all that Heidelberg has to offer. Overall, I highly recommend Lotte for anyone visiting the city!

I visited Heidelberg on the 4th of April earlier this year, and I stayed at this hostel for 2 nights in a shared room for 5 people. The location is impeccable like everybody says and the hostel has a very cozy and warm touch to it. On the first day I was met with two of my roommates with who I became really good friends with as we explored the city together. I loved the common area with the kitchen where everybody could just cook their own meals and socialize with people who travel from all around the world to this beautiful city. Heidelberg is the first European City I’ve ever travelled to in my life and staying at this hostel really left a memorable mark in me thanks to all the people I met here who I still stay in touch with and also thanks to this very warm, cozy and welcoming hostel! If you’re looking to travel alone to Heidelberg and you’re on a budget I would highly recommend this hostel. I would definitely stay at this place again whenever I visit Heidelberg.P.S - I would also like to thank Carmen for being such a sweet person for teaching me how German windows work and also for handing me this cute little map of the Altstadt ;) <3Unforgettable experience much love ❤️

It lives up to the good reviews. Amazing staff/service. The common area was filled with social people. You are provided with free milk and cereals for breakfast and coffee. The Location is very central. The rooms and bathrooms offer everything that you need but they are basic, dont expect modern interior.
