Can't recommend this hotel, staff unfriendly, service hard to reach, lots of inconveniences, etc. The hotel room itself was okay, but the hotel is not recommended!

Remmidemmi until late at night.In the hallway, in the rooms... everything was very noisy.Just the sound of doors slamming, every cough, every talking sounds like it's right next to the bed.I was first given the wrong room card, which disturbed people who were already staying in that room.A door for fellow travelers was not lockable (it could be opened with a little pressure). Something was promptly stolen from the room and, out of panic, the night was spent with other fellow travelers - but the reception had no understanding.It was also very dubious, the person who answered the phone at the emergency number was apparently not an employee at all, but a guest according to the reception. He had promised a new room plus compensation, but the reception didn't want to hear anything about it.Stay away from this hotel. One star is still too many.I've had better nights for less money and had breakfast with me.

No recommendation, the ambience is okay, but my room was broken into yesterday and property was stolen. I contacted the emergency number directly. I was assured that the money for the room including the damage would be refunded. The police were not called. The young gentleman at the counter Discussed with me for some time that he didn't know anything about it and nothing would be reimbursed, the room door was broken and I couldn't sleep in the room that night either. After a long discussion I turned to the emergency number and the gentleman assured me again that everything would be reimbursed and he tells his colleague after he has done that I go to the counter again after his boss called he said again he can't reimburse me for anything I don't recommend this hotel anything like that doesn't work at all!!!!

We stayed there for three nights and had a superior room. The room was big enough and everything was very clean. Unfortunately, the hallway was full while the rooms were being cleaned so I couldn't get through with my walker.

"Welcome to the Hotel Central. An owner-managed, customer-oriented, friendly, open and helpful hotel looks forward to your stay."Stay 1 night for work.Contacted by telephone the evening before: A disinterested, unprofessional employee could hardly answer my questions about the parking/underground car park situation.Underground car park, yes, but with no access to the hotel and covered in shit and piss from the bums.Room with a view of Kaiserring.There is a solid layer of dust on light switches and other surfaces, it stinks in the room and bathroom, dirty carpet and bed base. Saggy mattress and old faded bedding.No air conditioning, ok, that's what the description says, but also no fly nets.It's 29° outside, the sun is shining directly into the window, and there's a huge intersection with several tram lines in front of the window. In the evenings there are also bum screams and loud music.The whole thing will never go away, it just gets a little quieter for a few hours at night. On Thursday night!So pure relaxation!

Will not come back again. Can't sleep as beside the main road. Can hear rails and unfortunate at night, people horning the car. Can only sleep at 1.30 after taking sleeping pills. Hot water takes long. Lift still spoilt despite warning that it will repair max end june and i came 2nf july

I can't describe how disappointing my stay at the Central Hotel in Mannheim was. As soon as I entered the hotel, I was greeted by an unpleasant smell that permeated the entire building. The staff was extremely unfriendly and seemed to have no interest in helping guests.The room was a disaster. The furniture was old and worn, the beds were uncomfortable and the linens didn't seem to be very clean. I found traces of dirt and dust everywhere in the room.The noise in the hotel was unbearable. There was noise from the street and other rooms until late at night, making it impossible to have a restful night.Overall, my stay at the Central Hotel in Mannheim was an absolute disgrace. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely never stay here again. Save yourself the disappointment and look for another hotel.

It's clear from the outside that the Central Hotel has seen its day: the dirty entrance area and the H and E of the neon signs don't work either.This run-down atmosphere continues inside: the elevator is broken, the first floor is undergoing major renovations (there are buckets lying around and a stained mattress is used as a barrier).When you finally arrive on the "first" floor, you are immediately greeted by a disturbing version of the Mona Lisa.The key card system is practical and opens up the room well, where you can rest on sagging mattresses or dry your hands on a towel that is moistened with the previous person's hair.At night you can listen to the noise of the tram and in the morning you are gently woken up by room service at 10:30 with a key tapping on the door.Well anyway, at least the main station is really within walking distance.

The room was clean and tidy. You can't expect a nice view in the middle of Mannheim. I was satisfied with the hotel itself and the service, but the clientele that loudly lingers in the hallways and corridors is very strange. A sofa in the hallway directly in front of the rooms is disadvantageous if the doors let in every sound. Okay for one night and beyond, but otherwise probably more for getting out or doing things that aren't possible on the street in front of the door.

This was a business trip and I shared my experience with my work colleagues.My room wasn't bad, but the cleanliness could be improved. Finding parking is difficult and expensive. The young receptionist didn't want to help me and showed little motivation.The noise of trams and traffic is often accompanied by the noise of drunk people walking through this area.

Not bad per se, but what I have to criticize is1. Cold water in the showers2. Is it a half brothel on the first floor where men constantly come and ask if you're going to fuck and that's not possible!!!So child-friendly equals 0!!!So everyone who books HERE please only WITHOUT CHILDREN!!!But the room itself was very TOP with the cleaning!
