Disgusting. Unfortunately we did not check the room at 8:55 p.m. when we arrived because we went to dinner right across the street where the receptionist, who was also super nice, advised us to go. When we returned, another receptionist, and we went up to the 1st floor and there, horror. Dirty, stinking room (cold tobacco) filthy shower with sputum and macaques stuck to the tiles. When I got out of the shower, tootsies stuck to my feet, sunflower seed skins all over the floor. When complaining, the receptionist told us that unfortunately they no longer have any rooms. No excuses, no solutions, not even a commercial gesture, in short: worry about it. Frankly, I've been to B&B Hotels and I've never been disappointed, I was even already looking for May 1, 25 in Prague, but this overnight stay completely put me off. And what's more, when I see the ironic response given to me on the Hotel.com site: "Thank you for your unique comment... You definitely got into the shower without smelling the grains and here you are coming out of the shower you smelled grains on the floor. I sense bad faith in this comment given that we refused to move you to another room given the hotel was full. As for the smell of cigarettes not reported to you. in possession of the room, we can't do anything either; the report must have been at the time of the cheek in; Kind regards, Raouf" I wonder what's the point of asking my opinion if it's also to cheer me up. To the wise...

Nice staff but the room was poorly cleaned. There was still hair everywhere in the room and bathroom and there were still old blobs of shampoo on the shower.

Many positive points:- the hotel is easy to access, and close to the tram (no problem with traffic noise with the window closed, I didn't really need to open it because I stayed in October, with rain and 10°C on evening)- close to the town center of Schiltigheim (around 10 minutes on foot), which has some good restaurants- everything is done so that the customer is as independent as possible in the management of their stay (entry and room code available in advance upon payment, possible online)- the staff is friendly and helpful- cleanliness is at a decent level (I admit I didn't look in detail, not under the bed for example.)- little anti-waste extra: pastries from the buffet that have not been consumed in the morning are available for free self-service in the evening.Only downsides:- the shower is too small: you quickly find yourself with your arms in the wall or in the cold and wet shower curtain, and the curtain is difficult to position perfectly which means that you easily wet the bathroom floor- and for the decor (but that's personal) the plaster on the walls really bothers me :/

The hotel is very centrally located. But it doesn't make the disgusting hygiene condition go away. There was hair everywhere and under the bed and the entire floor were not mopped. Bathroom was just disgusting.

3 days and 2 nights have helped me know that you can trust B&B hotels and even more so in this hotel, a few km from the center, a not very bustling area. The hotel bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff is always attentive and pleasant.

Hotel well placed for visiting Strasbourg, clean and pleasant staff.Just lacks space for suitcases and clothes hooks.The shower is very small and needs to be replaced!The breakfast is also very good.

This is the first time we have been disappointed by a b&b.The sleeping area is nothing exceptional but still OK.On the other hand the bathroom, too small, with a water leak in the ceiling left like this and which makes a demarcation on the linoleum because it is so old... A ceiling tile is removed but no one takes care of the leak. ...Great to walk into a constantly soaking bathroom!An old, not very hygienic shower curtain.... Hot water took a very long time to come, pressure in the WC almost non-existent.The soundproofing of outside noise is far too weak, we had the impression of sleeping with the window open....I don't recommend it, which is a shame because it is close to a park and ride facility for the tram which is very practical.

We had already stayed in a B&B Hotel (4 stars) in May and we were very satisfied. We hadn't noticed that the one in September was a 2 star and we were greatly disappointed.Although the hotelier did what was necessary, we had to change rooms twice. The first room smelled of paint, the bathroom (small but adequate) smelled of sewage and the sink was clogged. The 2nd room, the paint smell was even worse. The hotelier told us he could not reimburse us. The 3rd bedroom is not much better because there is still a smell of paint but light, and a very unpleasant smell of sewer in the bathroom. We contacted the center: impossible to cancel and be refunded. We had to sleep with the window open to allow it to air out and no longer have bad smells all the time. The hotelier did what he could although he doubted our good faith and the presence of any odor called "normal, it's body odor".In short, very disappointed with the B&B group because I find it unacceptable not to be able to be reimbursed in the event of dissatisfaction on arrival.

Warm welcome and available staff.Hotel a little out of the way from Strasbourg, but there is the tram right next door. This provides access to the city center and shops.
