Optimal guesthouse!Easy check-in and check-out via key box at flexible times:)The bathroom used in the hallway was always clean and good. The rooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. The only annoying thing were the many pigeons in the inner courtyard, where it's better not to park a bike (mine got pooped all over it).

The guesthouse is in a good location, but that's all. |We had to put our money in cash in a mailbox before we were allowed to enter the guesthouse, while we were watched on camera. …

Disgusting flophouse with disgusting shared bathroom and disgusting courtyard, no staff on site and couldn't be reached by message, video surveillance in the house was creepy, contrary to what was announced there was no tea or coffee, we had minimal expectations and were still disappointed

The location is great. The room was fine if you don't expect furnishings from this century.Otherwise I was really disgusted. In front of the inner courtyard, which was completely covered in pigeons (this is where you're supposed to park your bike and from here you can get into a few of the rooms), in front of the mold in the bathroom, the clogged drain, the toilet brush that probably hasn't been changed in years and the dirty kitchen utensils. Luckily I was only here for one night and I have to say that the youth hostel room I booked the night before for €30 was better. Here I paid more than double.

Had the family room.Positive:Good hard mattressesCentrally locatedNegative:- Very dirty bathroom- Equipment from the 30 Years' War- Coffee corner disgusting- Inner courtyard with pigeons including pigeon droppings also really disgusting (dangerous to health?)- Service is available, but lies to you. Shower was clogged. We were promised that someone would come. After our stroll through the city we were told there was someone there who had cleaned the drain with a spiral. But it didn't look like anyone was there, the drain was still blocked. Bathroom was complete. under water

I recently stayed at this hostel, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. First off, the Wi-Fi was practically non-existent, making it impossible to get any work done. The infrastructure is severely outdated; the entire place looks like it hasn’t been renovated in decades.Hygiene standards are clearly not a priority here. The bathrooms were filthy, with mold growing in the shower (The showerdrain was also clogged) and the toilet had stains. It was disgusting and definitely not a place you’d want to freshen up. The fan in my room didn’t work. The cherry on top was the pigeon droppings everywhere—on windowsills, balconies, and even some common areas. This place is in desperate need of a serious upgrade and a deep clean. Finally, this place is grossly overpriced, especially considering the appalling service and conditions. I would strongly recommend avoiding it.

Top location and that's where my positivity stops.Bad bed and pillows, moldy shower with clogged drain, old-fashioned and musty room and a shitty courtyard that was the gathering place for every pigeon in Heidelberg. The 3.7 stars out of 5 that hangs so proudly at the entrance dates back to 2017, I wonder why???

NO GO!!! Rooms run down, no service available, contact unfriendly, unreliable and not goal-oriented, an SMS with an access pin was too much to ask for, as was information about when check-in would be possible. I tried my best, but couldn't find anything positive.

We booked several rooms here for a wedding. We chose because of the good location and the affordable price. The rooms are reminiscent of prison cells. Two out of five rooms did not receive the code for access. On the emergency phone we were told harshly that we were sure we had sent the code. Well, at least we could get help then. There were no towels for showering in the “family room”. Another call. Unfriendly help again. We were shown the way to an old box in which there were a few towels along with a few cleaning utensils. More were to be provided the next day. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Unfortunately, a single roll of toilet paper was not enough in our room. Luckily we had tissues. I've learned here that it's better to spend €30 more to at least have the basics at the end.The notice in the hallway was funny. Since we like the humor, a bonus star!
