The room was OK, although a bit "used" in parts. Breakfast was okay, there was no choice. Close to the city center also means something louder, the courtyard of the vaulted cellar is right next door, but it looked like there hadn't been anything going on there for a while. All rooms are at least on the 1st floor or higher; there is no elevator. OK for a few days

Stayed for one night while doing the Rhine cycle route and my bike was locked in a garage overnight. Staff were helpful and room comfortable. Good location on a side street but a quick walk to the main part of Speyer. Good breakfast and overall a good stay.

We stopped for a day while cycling through. The room was quiet and clean. However, it looked out onto the courtyard, I think it will be a bit louder during an event. Walking distance to the old town. Breakfast was sufficient and varied. Maybe again another time.

TV and refrigerator don't work. Calls are ignored. The switch in the room was partially “repaired” with duct tape, the curtain strip was broken, the mattress was completely worn out.

The hotel management forgot to mention in your description that there is an inner courtyard with an outdoor event restaurant right next to the hotel rooms. We were hotel guests and yesterday, June 26th, 2024, we had the “pleasure” of being treated to very, very loud music accompanied by very heavy bass until midnight. Everything in the room was vibrating. It was impossible to watch TV or even think about sleeping. So we had to endure it all until the music was finally turned off. For people who like to party, it's definitely the right thing for us, if we had known this beforehand, we would never have been booked!!!!!!! There was no one from the hotel we could turn to on site. When we asked this morning for a management or owner of the hotel, we were brushed off. Not very guest friendly!!

My husband and I were absolutely disappointed by the rudeness of the young man who was present at the reception and at breakfast.The cleanliness of the very small room and the bathroom left a lot to be desired, several items were broken (lamp in the bathroom mirror, plastic strips in the shower, the tiny satellite flat screen TV didn't work at all.The breakfast, on the other hand, was delicious and absolutely satisfying.

This hotel is located in the centre. It’s a cosy, family-run hotel, which was renovated some years ago. It has 12 rooms, with comfty beds. We spent only one night there, it was good. The staff was friendly, the only negative thing is the too strict check-in time: after 2 p.m.

Pretty, well-kept room, generously sized bathroom, everything is lovingly furnished and maintained. But - not enough storage space, closet very small. Bathroom was too cold and didn't get properly warm either.We found the only employee, apparently a *girl for everything*, to be attentive, reserved, but not unfriendly.The breakfast room is tiny and it will most likely be very cramped when all the seats are occupied. The reception is also in the room. I found the experience of checking in and checking out during breakfast to be disturbing and the room became even more cramped.The breakfast itself offers a lot of goodies, but remains in the standard range. I really liked the fact that yoghurt, juice (canned), jam and fresh fruit are served in portions in mason jars, thus saving packaging waste (maybe the dishwasher is economical). In short, everything tasted good and was visually appealing.The biggest drawbacks are that there is no elevator and no parking spaces at the hotel. Even briefly loading and unloading is problematic. The hotel is therefore not suitable at all for people with handicaps.There are parking garages and parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. However, in bad weather this is only semi-optimal. The parking situation is so central and so central. Cathedral, Maximilianstrasse, etc., everything can be reached in just a few minutes.

A very well located hotel, unfortunately there were a few things wrong with our room, the service was friendly. Unfortunately no elevator and steep stairs pose a challenge for older guests.The room was nicely decorated apart from the missing toilet seat and a lamp hanging out of the socket.

Pleasant hotel in surprisingly extraordinary town. Location could not be better, and if you take the highest room, you could see both churches from there. Breakfast is definitely worth it. Room was very well equipt.
