The location of the hotel is really great. It is very centrally located in the health resort of Bad Herrenalb. Unfortunately the stay was just ok. Especially for the prices that the rooms there actually have.It's quite good for short weekend trips but overall I was rather disappointed with the hotel.

Unfortunately only 1 star because we booked with a dog and then canceled it 2 days in advance because they only take dogs up to 5 kg... Ours has 10 kg but has always been on holiday with us since he was little... Very well behaved... Doesn't bark.. And has been to the hotel many times... What a shame...

Terrible hotel. It was probably once a retirement home and it still has exactly that charm. Apparently it hasn't been renovated since then, everything is very run down.The staff at the reception speaks poor German and seems completely overwhelmed; check-in alone took forever.The breakfast had little choice and was partly very grazed when we arrived.There was still trash in the room from previous guests and it wasn't really clean either.What should be positively mentioned is that the rooms and bathrooms are quite large and the hotel is located directly at the spa gardens.Overall, absolutely not recommended, especially for €130/night for a double room. I have absolutely no idea how these prices were arrived at.

I can't recommend it any further. The gentleman at reception was unfriendly and overwhelmed with registration.Staff in the kitchen area incompetent, as if they were waiting tables for the first time; communication very difficult; as soon as youIt came a little later, i.e. at 6:30 p.m. the food had already run out and schnitzels were only made when requested; It was the same at breakfast...The bar wasn't open every day, even though there was one. We were a group of 17 people and wanted to have a drink after dinner in the evening. We had to clarify this beforehand and were then served by a kitchen assistant.The only positive thing you can say is that the location is great, right next to the spa gardens, the room and bathroom are large and clean.

Unfortunately, this is not the truth. There are 4 cameras in the underground car park, but none of them are functional. In addition, the gate to the underground car park remains open during the day and at night. Unfortunately, we had no knowledge of this and an expensive bicycle that was secured to the luggage rack of the car was stolen. Despite repeated inquiries/requests, the hotel and the hotel management have not shown any concessions and no partial reimbursement of the costs. This means we can only warn other visitors.

HelloI wouldn't miss the hotel for anyone. STAFF UNFRIENDLY, really terrible. In addition, if you go for breakfast at 9.30 there is almost nothing left, terrible sausage and cheese, only one cup of cold coffee, the spoons are not clean, let alone the fully automatic one. The rooms aren't really clean either. The only good thing is the size of the rooms. At night the staff in front of the door is very loud with the window open it is not possible to sleep. Then the boss probably comes at night and throws the doors off the car. There aren't really any rooms with a mountain view here either, you can see more houses than mountains. This hotel doesn't deserve a star. If the clear out sign is hanging in front of the door, there are fresh towels. The bed is only half made, i.e. the sheets are not pulled straight and I don't think there is a vacuum cleaner either.Oh wellNot to be missedThis was by far the 2nd worst hotel of my life.

The hotel fully met our expectations.The spacious room including the new bathroom was in perfect condition. The bed and the entire furnishings were exactly as we expected.Nice view of the Black Forest slope, the house/room is very quiet inside.The entire staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.The dinners and breakfasts were rich and tasty.It was also pleasant to sit in the well-kept restaurant with a view of the spa garden.Conclusion: absolute recommendation.

Very rude person, had to pay extra fares even though it was done through booking. Com in the price already included was 54 € he didn't want to hear anything about it and we had to arrange it with booking the breakfast was practically always the same fresh fruit on Sunday the rest of the week nothing more just an apple. the rooms were without air conditioning Much too hot and had difficulty cooling down for us, but not worth 1 star itself

We stayed at this hotel with our grandchildren for 2 nights and we really enjoyed it. The food tasted very good and Mr. Berkant welcomed us very friendly when we arrived. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The family room was very nice, clean and large.Very family friendly 👍highly recommended again 😘see you next time😊

TERRIBLE!!!!DO NOT BOOK. ACTUALLY NOT ONE STAR DESERVED AT ALL. ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE OF THE LOCATION... The first time I didn't really pay attention to the reviews... we booked 2 nights with half board via "short and away". It said half board with either a menu or a (rich) buffet. There was no menu and the buffet consisted of ready-made meatballs with dry spaetzle sauce and warm frozen vegetables. You weren't allowed to take the food yourself but were served by very unfriendly staff who didn't speak German.The hotel is a former ALTENHOME. And that's what it smelled like...like old and death!!!!!!!!!!! The bar as described is not in operation.

The hotel was outstanding from the day-to-day reception team, especially with Mr. Berkant. Overall, the two boys at the reception really take care of the smallest problem.Up to the cleanliness and service team, top location, highly recommended, thank you, we'll be back...
