Hello #Agoda,We stayed at this hotel from Sept 19th to 21st, 2024, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It's nowhere near worth the money. First off, it's a good 500 meters away from the main road, so if you're lugging bags or not up for a trek, good luck! 😑The ambiance? Sure, it's decent, but the place is just not maintained well at all. It felt like they gave up halfway. You’re better off checking out other options nearby—there are probably way better places that actually care about upkeep and giving you value for what you’re paying. Save yourself the hassle!*Note:* Breakfast is limited with pre-design menu options.

Traditional accommodation, nice rooms and very kind owners and then the breakfast on the terrace was truly a surprise, apart from the fresh fruit the view was so relaxing.You can easily get to the center of Ubud on foot

The stay at Hibiscus Cottages was completely fine. The rooms are a little run down, but air conditioned and sufficient. The towels didn't smell too fresh :( The staff, on the other hand, was very friendly. The breakfast and the view from the roof terrace over Ubud is fantastic. Price/performance ratio is acceptable!

It was our first time in Bali and our experience at Hibiscus Cottages was more than positive. We found ourselves in a fairly central location and in a very nice, typical Balinese environment, with statues, flowers, fountains and the scent of incense. The room we were given was very spacious and clean. But above all the owners, father and son, have always been very kind and available to help us with all our needs, helping us to better organize our stay in Bali. They allowed us to rent a scooter almost every day and also to park right in front of our room on the way back. A great convenience! They also helped us find a driver, Degus, very good, professional, kind and helpful. Overall, we were very satisfied and hope to be able to return in the future!

Large and welcoming room enclosed in a context that reflects their culture, the staff was friendly and helpful, even the driver they offered us for some excursions was precise and friendly and the quality/price ratio of everything was excellent, a positive experience highly recommended.

A very warm welcome but very relative cleanliness. Avoid the bottom room to the left of reception. She smells damp. It wouldn't take much to make this place a very nice hotel. But I doubt these efforts will ever be made

I stayed 5 nights at this property. It is a little difficult to find, especially if you arrive in the evening, because it is located on a narrow, poorly lit side street. It is a homestay with typical Balinese architecture. The rooms and bathroom are very spacious with a nice view. Breakfast is served on the roof and freshly prepared (fresh juices, pancakes etc). Possibility to rent scooters on site and book excursions. Friendly and helpful staff. Positive experience.

Very poor quality mattress that makes sleeping difficult.But the worst gesture was the people at breakfast time. Denying us breakfast due to the early hour, while another couple was having breakfast and had already finished at that time.

The villa location is a bit tricky and road is only for motorcycle or walking, but in the main road there’s a sign so better pay attention on it. The villa itself is so homey, feels like in home, many plants and trees (especially the owner guy is really helpful and nice) the view from kitchen area is so nice and also you can make tea/coffee 24/7, free breakfast! and you can refill water as much as you want. The room is beautiful have many Bali ornaments. There’s many mini market, restaurant (open until late) even pharmacy nearby. Also some tourist area is also nearby. Really worth for money.

We stayed 3 nights and 4 days. The location is excellent. Away from the hustle and bustle and surrounded by rice fields and a beautiful view. The staff is very friendly and attentive to all your requirements. Breakfast is served on the terrace while you enjoy the sound of the birds and a lot of peace. The room, like the entire hotel, shows traditional Ubud architecture and makes you feel like you are inside a temple. The only thing to improve is the lighting in the bathroom as well as the availability of a hair dryer. The rest is excellent.

I was nervous as it was my first time traveling abroad alone, but the staff were so friendly and caring that I was able to stay for a week with peace of mind.The purpose of my stay in Ubud was to paint while feeling the local atmosphere, and the room that was perfect for painting became my favorite place.The breakfast is delicious, and I think the view from the rooftop is unique to Hibiscus Cottage.There was a family living in the back, and the lively voices of their children made it feel like they were living together, which was fun.Thank you to all the staff and everyone I met.

My wife and I spent 4 days here. The place is very quiet, clean and just minutes walking distance to Ubud City Center with all attractions, markets, shops and restaurants. Breakfast on the roof top with an amazing view is very good. Staff is friendly and the service is excellent. You can book a tour and rent a bike right at the hotel. We will definitely stay at Hibiscus Cottages when we come back to Ubud! We highly recommend visiting a restaurant on the last picture which is just at the starting point of the passage to the hotel (100m) from Hibiscus.

It's tradisional Balinese homestay which not so many exists these days. Huge clean room and huge bath room with bathtub.Tradisional Breakfast is served at rooftop which have really good view. You can feel happiness of Ubud staying.Friendly family and staffs,Motor bike parking is inside of property, it's little bit hard to access with it in narrow path.
