A nice, very modern hotel in a great location in Ubud. Fantastic hotel complex. You immediately feel at home here. We weren't there for an Ayurveda massage, but simply to spend a night in Ubud. Good location, perfect to avoid all the traffic in the center of Ubud, but still central. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the center. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There are extra pool towels provided on the sun loungers. The walls and interior are designed down to the last detail and look truly stunning. The buffet breakfast in the hotel's Indian restaurant was by far the best breakfast we had on our entire trip. In my opinion there is no disadvantage to this hotel, everything was perfect. Price/performance ratio is top! We really enjoyed the night in this hotel and can recommend it to everyone, even people who are not interested in Ayurveda.

Rudra Sahastrara Bali has one of the best vegetarian restaurants I’ve experienced in Bali. They serve exquisite Indian cuisine crafted with top-quality ingredients, meticulously spiced for incredible flavor. Everything was truly top notch. Tradional Indian food at its best. Not too spicy, not oily at all, Perfect balance of flavors and aromas..The food was absolutely delicious. Everything I ordered was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were simply amazing. This restaurant feels like an Incredible with its opulent interiors and intricate decor and it is a great place to relax and enjoy meal. The staff was friendly and attentive,I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Indian vegetarian meal. It is a great option for both locals and tourists alike.

I'm coming to the end of a 21 day panchakarma retreat at Rudra Sahashrara Ayurvedic Resort, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional.Upon arrival, you instantly feel how special this place is. The interior of the resort is bursting with the most vibrant colours, stunning paintings and ornaments, and the main lobby, restaurant, bedrooms, and spa treatment rooms each have their own unique character and story. I've never come across a hotel with such attention to detail. The exterior gardens and pool area overlook the rice paddies and are equally as lovely. The majority of staff at Rudra Sahashrara are Balinese, and exude the warmth, friendliness, smiles and attentiveness that one would expect. The Indian staff exude the same level of warmth, friendliness, smiles and attentiveness, and the blend of both cultures makes this a very special place.I learnt so much during my daily consultations with the onsite ayurvedic doctor, who also provided clinical yoga each morning, tailored to my needs and constitution. He made sure that I was taking the necessary ayurvedic herbs and medicines each day to improve my symptoms. It's worth mentioning that he is a wonderful, intelligent and caring individual and I felt well looked after during my stay. The Ayurvedic chef, who is also a very kind and caring person, was intent on ensuring that I was always well fed, and he creates beautiful, healthy ayurvedic meals that can satisfy any dietary needs and preferences. He is supported by a fabulous team of kitchen and restaurant staff that all contribute to making the internal and external guests experience a memorable one.I have worked in many spas around the world, and visited and received treatments at some top hotel spas in the UK, and I must say that the standard and quality of the treatments at Rudra Sahashrara are up there with the best I've had. The therapists each have their own unique touch, and I throughly enjoyed every treatment that I received. They have been trained in authentic ayurvedic treatments, and the quality was far superior to the treatments I had received on an ayurvedic retreat in India last year. It's also worth mentioning that I spent 2+ hours in the treatments every day for 21 days, and I did not see any Mosquitos.Reception staff are always incredibly helpful, and it was a pleasure to see their smiling faces each morning. Nothing was too much to ask. Not forgetting the housekeeping staff, who perform a diligent job of keeping the rooms very clean, and with all the amenities one could require. The evening turn down service was a lovely touch. It seems to be that the staff are well looked after and supported by the owner, who is always on hand via email should you need. All in all, it was a beautiful time at Rudra Sahashrara and I hope to return again soon. Thank you!

I initially planned to stay at Rudra Sahasra Bali for a week but ended up extending my visit to an entire month. The Property:Nestled amidst expansive rice fields, the property offers stunning views from every room. The infinity pool is generously sized and perfect for relaxation. Each room is meticulously decorated and furnished, featuring high-quality Serta mattresses that ensure a restful sleep. The rooms were immaculately clean, chemical-free, and maintained twice daily by the attentive staff. The WiFi was consistently fast and reliable. The Restaurant:The Ayurvedic vegetarian cuisine here is exceptional. Every ingredient and oil used adheres to Ayurvedic principles of cleanliness and non-toxicity. The menu boasts a rare variety, from South Indian delights like ghee roast idli, dosas, and upma, to North Indian specialties such as jowar roti. Chef Aravind creates extraordinary dishes with health and wellness in mind. Eating here daily significantly improved my well-being, a stark contrast to the greasy, oily foods found elsewhere. The Staff & Service:Mr. Sankalp, the owner, is a humble and passionate individual who ensures everything runs smoothly. His conversations and stories added a personal touch to my stay, making me feel like a welcomed guest in a home rather than just another visitor at a hotel. The onsite Ayurvedic doctor, Mr. Arun, is always available to answer questions and provide guidance on therapies and spa services. When I fell ill towards the end of my stay, he checked on me frequently, provided medicinal herbal tea, and even ran errands to the nearby pharmacy. His genuine care made me feel safe and well taken care of. The entire staff is consistently cheerful, attentive, and eager to assist with any needs, enhancing the overall ambiance of the place.Overall Experience:I wholeheartedly recommend Rudra Sahasra to anyone seeking comfort, healing, and rejuvenation. This isn't a place for parties or entertainment; it’s a sanctuary for those looking to recharge and heal. It has undoubtedly become my go-to place in Ubud. This review is entirely based on my personal experience, driven by a desire to help fellow travelers find such a wonderful haven.

I am an outside guest. The Facility is so nice new and clean here.I had Ayurveda massage here.I spend money around 1 million for 90 mins Ayurveda massage.Female therapist was not good technique and i feel no experience.Just she is touching my body and stroke. Is she professional? She said Ayurveda is different from other masaage.I am understanding that.I had a lot experience including Ayurveda.I saw some mosquitoes in the room and the bites were itchy I tell her but she didn't do anything. I was also surprised that a spa like this doesn't take measures against mosquitoes.I was really not comfortable.I ordered the massage. And here manager doesn't care about this situation. If you want nice Spa and Ayurveda i reccomend other place.Because here is very expensive and not good.I was really looking forward to it. I thought the price was a little high, but since it was a hotel, I thought it would be something like that, so I paid about 10,000 yen in Japanese yen after hearing that it was an Indian-style authentic Ayurveda restaurant. The result was terrible. I think they use expensive oil, but I'm just stroking it. It's not even a spa in the city, and it's really impressive. What's more, when I told them there were mosquitoes in the room and said it was itchy, they didn't do anything.Bali has many options starting from around 50K, but I can't recommend this one at all. My 10,000 yen went to waste, but please try not to let that happen to you.

The food here was very tasty and the grounds are beautiful. I'll definitely return anytime I want delicious Indian food. The venue itself is wonderfully decorated with unique paintings and beautiful fixtures. I look forward to trying the treatments soon as my consultation with the doctor was very informative.
