I really wanted to love this place. Looked lovely from the photos. Now, the location of this place is freaking awesome! Right in town but very quiet. A little tricky to find because you have to go down a long alley way. But the location was the only good thing about this property. It’s a great location but the property is run down. I have asked for assistance with a few things and they say they can’t help. It’s terrible there. Tv doesn’t work. WiFi doesn’t work, the shower is heavy with mould, food is terrible and they didn’t even give us towels 😳 we had to ask for them! The bed wasn’t very comfortable and everytime you moved it creaked so bad it sounded like it was going to collapse. There wasn’t even a doona on the bed. Instead, they just used a mattress protector on top in between two sheets 😳 and it’s didn’t even reach the sides so when two people got in, it didn’t cover you unless you slept on top of each other. The sheets weren’t even long enough and just came untucked when you got in. I understand it was cheap, but we have stayed at cheaper accommodation before with better outcome. I wouldn’t recommend stay here.

We’ve stayed here in our initial days of vacation, it’s in the prime area with everything nearby, and there’re lot of places to cover within 20mins radiusWe loved the hospitality, breakfast was little bland, but the staff were extremely polite and help you with bike rentals at low price . The restroom is quite small, but rooms are cleaned every day.This hotel is right behind the main Ubud local market, very close to Saraswati temple and loads of cafesYou can explore many cuisines within this locality at reasonable rates, and we rebooked this again for reasonable rates. Hotel is very aromatic because of the incense sticks they have after pooja every dayTotally recommended for couples and family!!

I don’t know why there are some negative reviews for the little price you pay for this very well maintained homestay! The property is stunning and down a beautiful green, jungle feel path. The rooms are clean and updated (Agoda needs to show that) .. for such a tiny price, you can go without a tv and fridge! The staff are very polite. Breakfast is included. Pool is clean and well maintained. You’re in the heart of Ubud, yet it’s quiet! Peaceful. I recommend this for anyone that just needs to switch off, recharge and relax.

Honestly LOVED IT.Best deal for the price. Simple but spotless clean! Feels like new hotel. Comfortable bed. Big private balcony. There is hot water!!Also, small refrigerator in the room. Calm and peaceful at night, we slept like babies!No Tv, no kettle in the room. Breakfast not so fancy but it was okay.Good location. Main street around the corner with all the massages and restaurants. Monkey forest walking distance, about 15min (We were lucky as one visited us 😊 Staff were surprised to here that 🤷). ARM gallery 8min away. Best place to see traditional dance performance Barong and Legong. Also, book your place at Merlin's to see secret performance.We extend our stay for longer as we loved that hotel so much.

Great amenities, we booked a double room for 1 month. It came with a connected kitchen and bathroom & bath. Got lovely views on both sides, daily breakfast, sturdy furniture & very clean. Good value & surprisingly quiet for being in the heart of ubud

The management was very polite. They couldn’t give us the room that we had booked for two nights and promised to shift us the next day. Didn’t feel like shifting as the room we were given was good enough. Close by bars and restaurants. 100m walk from main road. The ally leading to the hotel should have some lights at night. Other than that it was perfect stay.

There is only 1 car parking space, so if there are 2 guests using a car they will be moved to another villa parking lot, the distance between the other villa and the hotel is around 200 meters. And from the hotel parking lot to the hotel is 150 meters along a road that is only passed by motorbikes. We checked in around 4 pm and at 9 pm new towels were provided. We were staying with 4 people then we were asked for an additional fee of 150 thousand at 9 pm and without any prior agreement. It was very unpleasant to stay here in terms of service and location.

The room I received wasn’t at all like in the photos or description. There’s no bathtub or kitchen. My AC didn’t work and they didn’t even offer a fan. So many bugs in the bed was the worst part. Definitely would NOT recommend, you will not get what you’re paying for .

Excellent little hotel, very quiet and discreetly located, I was surprised by the short path you have to take to get to the reception, only traveled by occasional motorcycles, to reach the motorcycle parking lot a few meters from the hotel. Arriving as if it were an oasis, this assortment of pools with perfectly clean and fresh water delights the hot traveler. As usual with local people, a true example of respect and kindness. If you can it's worth it

so hard to find this place. located very far inside a small street. need to walk in around 100-200m. the worst part, our booking was missing, we need to find other place to stay in but luckily the staff help. but, the replacement resort was so awful. dont book and stay here. bad experience

This guest house is situated in a busy street. There is a lot of restaurants around but at the same time the accommodation is very quiet.

Though basic a beautiful setting and lovely staff. Water was black in taps on arrival. They apologized and had it fixed in a couple of hours. The breakfasts were awesome. Don't worry about booking the kitchen as there are no utensils or gas. Great position with good restaurants out the front.

It's a first time I was very disappointed when booking a hotel in Agoda. It was booked months ago. The cottage said it's overbooked when we arrived and it's quite late since we stuck in the traffic jam for hours to reach the place. They only said will take us to another hotel without feeling any guilty and it was quite far from the cottage. Imagine that it was a very traffic around the area and we have our appointment around the cottage. I felt pity to the staff working there since they have to face us while all the higher/management was nowhere to be contacted. At last the staff only refer us to other homestay which is located near Lili. It's a very unprofessional and I suggest that this cottage should be removed from Agoda. Preventing others to have a bad experience like us.

Booked to stay here for 2 nights, booked 3 days in advance, when we got there, they said they’d double booked our room and tried to put us in a place with very bad reviews and a 1 star hotel, absolute joke and the staff had no idea what they were doing, and didn’t understand how we would get a refund, if you want somewhere to stay, I wouldn’t bother staying here as it is too unreliable

Everything is great except for the room. It has an unrepaired leak near the closet, and the curtains had these stains from molds but it seemed clean. No problems with the smell, no cough triggers, or sorts. Water quality is quite, maybe common in the area, gladly it did not affect our skin health.The service is superb. Staff really try to understand English and meet the expectations. We apologize for being too needy since we know the number of staff are just enough to cater the basic needs of the hotel capacity, but we badly need to make several requests. They really go the extra mile.Location is also considered in the central Ubud. I wouldn't worry so much with the restaurants, convenience stores, and money exchange.Overall: If you're in a budget, book this, but care to provide tips to servers since they're quite overworked and rely on basic salary. Moreover, you can't really rely so much in social media to check their rooms. What I can guarantee you, what you give is what you get.

This little hidden gem of Ubud, prime location, to get here walk about 200 meters in a small alley so you are in city center but its very quiet. Service is okay, staff helpful. Rooms are decent, clean, bathroom okay, and bed comfy enough. Definitely love to come back and stay for another day
