We stayed in the hostel for a long weekend as a couple with a dog.Check-in was easy using a numerical code and key box.There is free parking directly in front of the propertyThe hostel is located on a quiet side street with hardly any vehicles other than the vans used by the fitters from the neighboring building.The room was spartan but clean and the beds were surprisingly good. A few more hangers would have been nice, but that was okay for 2 nights.The bathroom is really compressed but everything was very clean and functional. There was a small fridge in the room, but you can clearly hear it at night. We turned it off and put our food in the fridge in the shared kitchen.The shared kitchen is really well equipped, with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave and coffee machine. And there is a perfect waste separation system.The lounge is comfortably furnished, with board and card games, a table football and a television.The outdoor area is absolutely amazing. A huge garden surrounds the hostel on three sides. There are seats and tables everywhere, everything is very lovingly designed and the trees cast pleasant shade in summer.If you don't need a luxury suite and only use your room to sleep, you can have a very pleasant time here.The surrounding area offers an incredible number of excursion destinations:Various (bathing) lakes, Leipzig is only about 15km away, there is a mining technology park and the largest amusement park in East Germany, Belantis... the list can be expanded as desired :-)By the way, we also think the price-performance ratio of this accommodation is very good.We really enjoyed our stay, the dog was welcome and felt comfortable, we would really like to come back.

It's not easy to evaluate, but I'll do it. The bathroom 🛁 even if it is GDR didn't have that much mold for me, or better yet, not at all. Here, wherever you look, there is mold. Even the shower partition isn't easy to look at because athlete's foot comes on its own. Stove works a bit. I think you should do something different in the GDR. It doesn't look like that. Now you have the opportunity to do something beautiful. So what we pay for 8 men is not possible at all. Since we unfortunately have to rely on it now, we have to stay. But I'm looking for something else because it could take a few weeks for us. Not recommended here.

The staff enters the room without asking and turns off the radiators. The sleeping bed in the living room where other people go to the kitchen is squeaky and stuck with tape. Cleaned quite poorly. Each plate or cutlery from a different parish. Dishwashing liquid diluted with water. I do not recommend.

I stayed at this property for a school trip. We particularly liked the apartment for a total of 12 people. The living room had enough space and the kitchen was very well equipped and had enough space to work. The grill was particularly positive. So on the last day everyone could have a barbecue and also eat there thanks to enough seating. Furthermore, the service was also very friendly and accommodating. There is WiFi, but it didn't work in all rooms. Unfortunately, as far as we knew, there was no shop nearby that you could reach on foot. Nevertheless, the stay was overall great.

Had a great time. All wishes were fulfilled during and before the stay. Super nice and flexible landlady. She also took care of everything else (e.g. informing the neighborhood about the celebration, etc.)Rooms were clean, tidy and everything was prepared.Long story short: Absolutely top and recommended. Hostel was newly renovated and impressed us positively. There were enough rooms for our large group and an extra event room. The exterior design also impressed us. There were many options, including table tennis and barbecue. Our visit was not the first and certainly not the last :-)
