Well this hotel, that I have booked quite spontaneously was a different kind of hotel I was used to so far. But I liked it!The location was quite close to Ubud centre but since we arrived in the latter evening we were too tired to go out hence we missed it. The next morning on our way to Nusa Dua we figured out it was a nice centre. However, the hotel has a nice pool that we unfortunately could not use due to our travel plans and it's located in the centre of the hotel. Literally surrounded by the rooms. The rooms are very nicely made with lots of bamboo material. The sink and the interior of the bathroom was made of stone.The internet.... That was awful. I mean the wifi was pretty much useless but luckily we had our SIM cards hence were still connected.Now comes the interesting part. The breakfast!When we checked in we were asked what we'd like to have for breakfast. So we could choose one main course and one drink. This is a great way to avoid food waste. Imagine if every hotel did this people would be more conscious and think twice about what they are going to order. The breakfast comes with two pancakes and fresh fruits anyway and you have the dish that you asked for the evening before. Great concept! Oh speaking of food, this hotel is serving vegetarian food only.The staff was very friendly at all times and helpful.If my path crosses again Ubud I might allow myself to stay at this place again.

Found this place at the last minute first place we booked was filthy. It is about a 15-minute drive outside the city centre. They do a shuttle bus to the town and a few local tourist spots. The rooms were spacious and spotless and clean. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Andy the manager was great . 2 things that would put me off going back were they don't serve meat and there is no bar. Also, it rained for our last 2 days but was still nice

Yes but..The location is good but the rooms were really not good, the water stream of the shower was not strong enough and the water didn't run away, when you showered at night the water was still there the next morning. Our toilet didn't flush straight, when flushing there was a leak. There was also a very strong dirty smell in the room.Breakfast was good but the quality could be better, toasts and pancakes were burned.

Place is nice, bf and coffee are pretty good, stuff is friendly, it’s quiet at night and has a great volcano view in the morning from the balcony. It was nest of some flying insects like ants in my and my kids room, which was pretty annoying during night.

Great view to stay at here .Beautifu natural scenery and the room space are large with a king bed size.Its really stay with pure nature and available service to drop / pick up to Ubud with the buggy car or car ( free services ) until at 9.00 pm.If you want to stay with the pure nature, its very recommend to stay at Karang Lila Bhuana Ubud.

It was a evening cek in. We got a room second floor. I acctually not wanted to complain till 0.00 music. The room smelled and the bedsheets was really smelly. I used a towel cleaned just 1 meter floor with it so dirty. And then over all morning time wanted to drink the free welcome water help. My friends forgit the phone in the room after 1:30 hour went back there. The phone was allready switched off and the code tryed three times to open hmmmmmm. At least they git it back. I will never go there

This place is fit for you who seeking for serenity, peacefull surrounding and a lover of sustainable bamboo design. I arrange group meeting here with colleagues, they simply love them and leave such a wonderful experience for staying over night. I also recognize this place is vegan friendly.
