I had booked a double room in the “Alte Meisterey” in advance for one night on our bike tour along the Elbe. Very friendly welcome from the operator. The room was very clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. Bicycles can be stored in a lockable shed and batteries can also be stored (if necessary).There is a well-stocked drinks fridge (fair price) available to everyone. We got some things for a snack in the evening from the supermarket within walking distance and ate in the beautiful garden. Here we were also able to enjoy the lovingly prepared breakfast. All in all a good choice.

I can only write positive things about this hostel. We spent a few lovely days here with the whole family (14 people). The rooms were excellent! Spacious, clean and very cozy. The garden was always attractive for cozy evenings. It was like a little oasis. Just a small remark, the breakfast was always varied, but for example the cold cuts per person were a bit small ;)Nevertheless, we would like to thank you for everything. We hope that it will work again next year and that we can stay with you again. Best regards from Budapest

We come here every year, the welcome is warm, the breakfast is always made with a lot of love.The rooms are very clean.There is everything from single rooms to well-equipped holiday apartments.The garden is wonderful for relaxing when the weather is nice.All in all, it's a great place to relax and unwind.

A hostel to feel good. Cozy room, a fantastic garden, pleasant atmosphere throughout the house. Requests are responded to very quickly and, if possible, implemented very quickly. I felt comfortable there during the days.

We were cycling on the Elbe cycle path. One can only praise the Alte Meisterey in all areas. Super friendly and warm welcome, fridge full to plunder, great modern rooms, beautiful garden. In the evening you could go out to eat at Seeblick. All in all great - gladly again. 100% recommended.

Beautifully remodeled home with great attention to detail. Very well maintained large room. Beautiful garden. We were able to safely store and charge the e-bikes in the bike shed. You could choose between three breakfast options, but the basic breakfast was completely sufficient. The host was very friendly and provided a lot of information and historical knowledge about his place.We would come back at any time.

A guesthouse run with passion, lovingly renovated and decorated with lots of wood. The rooms are beautiful, well thought out and have a special feel-good factor. You feel arrived and at home. The breakfast in the morning was extensive and delicious. There is a lot to discover from Mühlberg and it is a pleasure to come back to this small town with extremely friendly and open-minded people. We can recommend this gem without reservation and would be happy to come back. Thank you for a weekend that was far too short.

The courtyard of the hostel is beautifully designed. We rented the apartment and everything was clean and sufficiently equipped. The shower switches off automatically, which we found to be very inconvenient but that's a matter of taste. The breakfast in the hostel was fine. The town of Mühlberg is deserted. We hardly saw any people on our walks through the town. The monastery can be visited in an hour, then there isn't much left to do in Mühlberg. When asked where you can sit comfortably in the evening or go for a drink, the answer was only 10 kilometers further by bike there is the next pub... There is a restaurant, the food was good. The furnishings have the charm of the 80s. The harbor is a boat landing stage. The hostel is well suited for an overnight stay during a tour, but rather too boring for a longer stay. It was also due to the weather that we ended our vacation early. All excursion destinations, considering the bad weather, were at least 20 kilometers away. We wouldn't travel to this wasteland again.
