Hands off this guesthouse. Can't recommend it at all. My room was simply handed over to a couple and I was offered the two rooms, which the couple didn't like at all and of course I didn't like it either. Had to look for new accommodation at short notice. I only had trouble and stress with the owner, who showed no insight at all and was very short-tempered and unfriendly. The one star is only given because I had to give it.

Never check in! The room smelled of old cigarette butts and urine. It was shabby, no TV and then 70€ was charged. We skipped breakfast when we saw the germy kitchen. Just a dump!!!

We stayed in room number 1 for two nights. The furniture is a worn out hodgepodge. The room was probably not cleaned properly for a long time, but rather superficially. …

Actually, you should have moved to another accommodation after the first telephone contact with the owner. …

The rooms haven't been cleaned for a long time. Mirror dirty. Dust on the dessert table. Toilets are dirtyLet alone the communal kitchen 🤮.The accommodation is not even worth 5 euros per night.

Never again. The rooms and the entire staircase are dingy and dirty. The carpeting in the rooms is disgusting. We didn't use a shower either.Definitely not recommended.

Very bad! Our child found an old roll next to the bed and of course wanted to eat it when she was 2.5 years old🙈, there was hair everywhere in the bathroom, the garden was very desolate, not at all as beautiful and cute as the entrance area.I didn't really want to get into the bed, but I had to survive it for one night. In the refrigerator in the kitchen we only found expired and partly moldy food (we were allowed to store our drinks etc. there because the minibar/refrigerator in the room was broken)After seeing this, I also skipped breakfast in the morning.Thank God we looked around for a replacement on the same day we arrived there and found a very nice guesthouse a 3-minute walk from Lake Markkleebergersee that was able to accommodate us the next day and was even €5 cheaper per night.Of course, the already bitchy lady at the reception wasn't happy when we told her that we were leaving again and that she should be happy about the €60 for one night and shouldn't think of asking for compensation. Conclusion: I'm surprised that the hut still exists and we can only advise against spending the night there.
