Nice smaller hotel just outside the city center on the tram line. This means that the environment is noisy but there are good windows, the rooms are clean and renovated, the bed linen has a lot of synthetic material which makes it very warm. Relatively large bathroom for a single room. Breakfast from 8 a.m. on public holidays and no night porter at the moment are restrictions on the service, otherwise nice staff.

Would stay here again for sure. It is like 15 minute walk from the HBF. Room was huge and comfortable. I got a huge compliment then a huge let down from the front desk person. We were speaking German, I said we have a reservation and asked if we can leave our bags. He said naturally, but maybe your room is ready. I asked if he needed our passports, then he ASKED IF I WAS GERMAN! I was flattered, I assumed he thought my German was so good he thought I WAS German. Turns out he was American and wasn’t quite fluent in German. Oh well, was a good interaction and memory.

Comfort room with a room temperature of 30 degrees for sleeping, room doors with finger-thick gaps so that every sound from the hallway can be heard. After showering, the entire bathroom is flooded with water and there is already black mold in the corners and under the toilet.Unfortunately, the friendly staff is not enough to improve the rating.

Great hotel. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Staff is friendly and helpful. We chose the hotel because it has air conditioning. However, these are only available on the 5th floor and you have to specify that you want air conditioning when making your room reservation.

Great modern room, at a good price. Pleasant atmosphere and nice staff at reception. Unfortunately I can't say anything about breakfast because I had to leave early. The hotel is located on a busy street with a tram, but if you close the windows you won't hear anything. I had all the windows open because it was warm, but the city noise didn't bother me and I slept really well thanks to the good beds

The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is rich. The elevator is smeared and gives an overall unclean impression, as does the room. The shower door hinge is broken. Unfortunately, the living environment is very loud. That's why I can't recommend the Atlas Hotel.

Clean and cozy room. Appreciate the 2 standing air-coolers in the room; enabling one to have a cool, pleasant sleep in the warm summer. Very friendly receptionist. About 15 min walk to Central Station and Flixbus interchange. Drawback: No complimentary beverages in the room. Bins were emptied daily but beds were not made nor were the towels arranged neatly. They were left untouched as we have left them.Despite the inconveniences, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

Good and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Only housekeeping - rooms were kept clean but we made our own bed - and room staff left it at that, did not make up the bed nor re-arranged pillows. For the rest everything OK. Especially proficient and multilingual reception staff.

It's a shame - after repeated positive stays, I met Ms. Schönitz at the reception. They refused to print out my invoice for me and were also unwilling to respond to HRS's request or call the hotel management. Unfortunately, Ms. Schönitz is by no means suitable to run a hotel of this size alone.

A solid business hotel. The rooms are clean, sufficiently large and appropriately equipped. The extra charged breakfast buffet is rich and of decent quality. The location on a central arterial road in the city with tram traffic is noticeable, but the windows provide good sound insulation.

The reception was very nice and explained everything important very well.If I come to Leipzig again, I would like to stay at the Atlas again.I won't give a review about the service or location because I booked without breakfast and didn't use any other services.I chose the location based on my appointment and not based on tourist activities.

Landed in this hotel by chance and was pleasantly surprised. Good price for a hotel very close to the center in a big city. Modern, comfortable, bright and clean, nothing was missing. The girls at the reception and in the restaurant were super friendly, nice and helpful. For I absolutely recommend it if you want to stay cheaply in the center. Some people criticize the noise from the street at night - yes, it is loud, but you know that if you look beforehand where you book. In a hotel on the side You can't rest on the busiest street in Leipzig like you would in an alpine hut. The hotel can't do anything about that, so you just have to book somewhere else. Others complain that they were in the wrong place on this street with their children. These people don't find out in advance where They go on vacation with their children and then criticize wildly and give bad reviews? I don't understand how many of the complainers here are. If you want luxury, go to the Steigenberger or something similar, if you want to spend one or a few nights in Leipzig cheaply I'm in good hands here. I've slept much worse, but at a much higher price.By the way, the beds are very good, and there is also an extra pillow, which I personally think is good because pillows in hotels are usually too small or too soft.I can ignore the few limescale deposits on the soap dispenser in the shower, which have already been criticized here. That could be removed, but it didn't bother me because I don't use the thing anyway.Parking for 8 EUR per night is completely ok and right next door.The only small point of criticism from me - plastic toothbrush cups/disposable, in a plastic bag don't have to be there. Otherwise everything is great, I will definitely stay here again. The young people in this hotel do a good job. And you don't get shot straight away either, when you walk through Eisenbahnstrasse at night.;)

Despite the “bad area” we were warned about, we had a pleasant stay at the Atlas Hotel and spent one night there. The suite was very spacious and comfortable with children. We enjoyed a short break on a beautiful little sunny terrace facing the backyard. The room was very clean, modern and practically furnished. The highlight is a large bathtub in the middle of the room. The windows are well insulated so you can hardly hear the tram.The staff were all very polite and attentive. We also used the hotel's parking lot (€8/night). Everything is uncomplicated.
