We loved our stay. We came in for the Euros match, walked over to a great area with eateries and energy. Then we walked to the stadium for the game. 10/10 would recommend for location, rooms, and service!

Warm, clean and welcoming hotel in a great location. The stuff was very nice for us and we had a great time. There isn't airconditioning so it might be too hot inside during hot summer days. The room was in front of a central street and a bit noisy when the window was open.

Families, beware! The family room faces the train station. All night long we heard the roar of trains. In the morning the construction started up. We slept horribly. The hot air from the past heat wave (which broke two days prior) was still trapped in the entire hotel, making it necessary for us to open the windows although it hardly helped. I chose to close mine since one was low enough for my toddler son to potentially climb up via nightstand and climb out of, a huge safety hazard. The rattling fan did not help nor did it hide the noise. One towel and one face cloth per family here. Do not attempt to stay here, families, for short or long term. The fellow at reception was perfectly nice, and the decor downstairs was very pleasant even if it was smothered by the entrapped hot air. It was only upstairs that the horror truly emerged. It turns out Big Mama cared, but not that much. Oh boy are we tired now, with a road trip ahead of us.

rooms are quite big, that’s nice, they are a bit dated, but when size vs a visible past i go for the size…the people working there are lovely! absolutely wonderful. so in general: a nice affordable hotel

Very friendly and supportive staff at the bar and reception. The room was clean and tidy. Great mattress and best rest ever, highly appreciated after a long business trip from Düsseldorf. Ask if possible at the check in for a room on the quiet side of the street. I would recommend the staff to check the windows isolation, the rooms facing the tram lines are veeeery loud! Early in the morning there was also a lot of noise from the other guests in the hallway or from their doors beating.

The rooms were simple with no frills but clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to the station the location was good for our arrival by train and wasn't too far to walk to the zoo or the city centre. Breakfast was great with many homemade touches. Price was high but was a weekend with a high demand for the Christmas markets.

This place is an incredible value, and should be highly rated by everybody who understands the cost of travel.Just steps from the train station, I was greeted warmly by Thomas at the front desk. He made me a fresh cup of coffee and gave me excellent directions for a walking tour in the morning.I asked for a room on the backside, and it was very quiet. The room was impeccably clean, there were two complementary bottles of water, and I slept very well. When I went downstairs in the morning, the ladies greeted me at the entrance to the café, asked me if I was having breakfast, and when I said, all I wanted was coffee, they could not be more accommodating. All in all a great experience, and I will look forward to returning.
