Well equipped spacious apartment in a central location, just a few meters from the lake.|Entry was easy once the appropriate information had been provided. The room was clean and had a view of the Main Street. …

It‘s an amazing place to be with kids. We‘ll come back. I‘m aware, that it’s very hard to find good staff at the moment. However, service staff, even though they were kind & friendly, many of the waiters barely or don’t speak the local language or sometimes not even English. Sometimes they would ask 3 times what you want, and somehow manage to get it wrong. Well, let’s give them some grace period. Seems like it was the beginning of the holidays and they are currently scaling up. Maybe the routines are not just there yet. Again, it’s a lovely place to be and we‘ll come back! I don’t suggest going there with no kids, unless you like having kids EVERYWHERE 😅

Pros:• Rooms are great and clean.• Great location.Cons:• Kids areas feel unfinished.• Restaurant food options are limited and you are left with only a buffet option (30€)• A bag of buns for breakfast costs 10€.• Most of the staff is pretty unfriendly (Except for our waiter Nacho, who was extremely helpful and super friendly)• There are no food options past 8:00pm (a la carte and 8:30 only buffet) (not even a vending machine available)• We asked for help with loud noises from our neighbours above us after 11pm and we were told to handle it ourselves…The next day.• We weren’t even able to find some of the attractions like the forest Spielplatz (No signs)• For a “BIO” hotel, there are no options to separate your trash.• WiFi is a joke. At points we couldn’t even send WhatsApp messages.

Our stay was nice, however, there are a few points which could have been better. The flat was extremely hot, although they have great built-in ventilation (as they state on the website). So either overheating while sleeping or opening the windows and getting killed by bucks (there as only in one room a insect net at the window. When we arrived there where two big wet spots on the floor, which we had cleaned immediately because we travelled with a dog. Unfortunately, we couldn't communicate with the cleaner as she spoke neither German nor English. The pool is a big plus, but the Naturepond and the Discus course were kind of a joke. The kitchen was missing sharp knifes and boards to cut on.Regardless to all this we still had a nice time, but I guess I wouldn't go there again.

Stayed for three days and had a great and relaxinng time! Just what I needed! Great! And it was nice and quiet so I could relax, eventhough there were lots of kids you couldn´t hear them in the rooms or while eating in the restaurant due to great soundproofing. Only once in a while I heard some as I was in the room but it wasn´t too bad.

First the good stuff:The hotel is well located for trips to Ravensburgerland and the city itself. The rooms were clean and cosy and the bathroom was of a good standard. There was a small playroom for children and luckily as the hotel wasn't busy, we were able to use it extensively. However, several things were bothersome about the stay:Firstly, reception claims to be open until 20:00 every day, and even has a note on the door saying this. We arrived at about 19:35 to find the door to reception locked, with our keys sellotaped to the outside of it. I could see there was someone on reception, but when they saw us, they turned the lights off and scurried off - not a friendly welcome.Due to this, we had a bit of an issue finding where dinner was being served as the instructions with the keys weren't overly helpful. The evening dinner buffet was very bland (and certainly not cheap) with not a great variety of foods. They have pizza chefs there but again, you have to pay extra (i.e. a full pizza price of 12+ EUR) if you avail yourself. The pizza was also not of a great standard. At the start of dinner, the waitress asked for our drinks, we ordered two coke zeros...10 minutes passed, nothing came. When she came by again we asked where our drinks were...she looked at her notepad and had clearly forgotten, so said she would go and get them...another 10 minutes pass still nothing...she comes by again and once more admits she has forgotten to put the order in...about 5-10 minutes later we get our drinks, roughly 3 or 4 minutes after we have all finished out meals. Given how empty the restaurant was, this was astoundingly lax. Nobody apologised or suggested they would be deducted from the bill - quite poor I thought.Due to the time of year (I suppose), most of the amenities which seemed appealing for a sort of "working farm" vibe were closed or being renovated (e.g. the proper playroom for kids). There are also electric car chargers at the hotel, which should be a plus point. I left my car on overnight and topped up around 70kwh but was shocked to see a bill for 95 Euro for the privilege. I understand this might not be within the hotel's control, but to get a bill like that which would have cost roughly 1/3 at a supercharger (or any destination charger in extremely expensive Switzerland) also leaves a sour taste.

They said they have charging, and they do, but it's not their's and it's a bit funky. In the end it worked out, the rooms are awesome, good is great, staff is friendly... but nothing open for the kids really.

The room was showing its age in the state of the decor, holes in walls where coat hangers once were - not filled or replaced, missing and scuffed paint, the edges of the floor were dirty, the windows had smudge marks and it generally felt not very well looked after which is a shame as we had such high expectations. The steps to our room (519) had an algae growth which became extremely slippery when wet, which caused my eldest daughter to slip and bang her head on a step edge. The breakfast was disappointing, for the price I had expected a bit more, the vegan selection was abysmal and the bread rolls were tiny. One redeeming factor was the inclusion of Sonnentor teas, and a good selection too.Due to the renovations works the indoor play area was closed, a replacement has been constructed but again it felt haphazardly put together. For the cost it was definitely way below my expectations.Stayed Easter Sunday night.

I stayed here on a recent visit to the Aero Messe in Friedrichshafen, and it was excellent. My room was recently built or renovated. Beds were comfortable, and the place is quiet. Shower was honestly one of the best I've used - very new and modern. The whole wing I was in was new and well-maintained. The room had two giant TVs - if that's your thing. There is a spa, but I didn't try it. Breakfast was very good, and the ingredients were clearly real - like the scrambled eggs were real eggs. You have to have a car to get here, or get someone to drive you. Lots of very easy, free parking. Many covered parking places - about 25%. This is a very family-friendly place, and there were lots of kids. There is plenty of space for the kids to run around, with an outdoor play area, some indoor play rooms (which I didn't see) and of course a nice outdoor pool. Excellent free wifi.
