Hello dear readers, first of all - just leave it!!! No matter what the price says, no matter what pictures you see, stay away from the book button!!!! We wanted a nice weekend in Baltic Sea weather, with a pool, sauna and eating out. If you do allow yourself to be dazzled, just don't let yourself go to Suite No. 1 a ☝️ After we complained about how great the toilets and the tub that was supposed to be for showering were cleaned, we were given another “suite” on the 1st floor. This was significantly fancier, so it had a lot less “retirement home flair,” but it wasn’t vacuumed or shabby. The broken, rusty handles in the tub didn't make it any better. What was nice was the advertised WiFi reception of almost 20%, which constantly stopped. No matter, after we tried to get into the super-cooled “spa area” with the even colder pool for a deposit of any kind, we ended up outside of Essen. The question “Do you eat in our house?” was simply too suspicious for us…. The beds were ok, the sofa was much too short for the 3rd person and well, old pull-out sofa (with crumbs and stains, carpet too by the way). The breakfast was great for the money, especially the coffee - really. So if you want to get a bargain and have virtually no demands, this is the right place for you.

We stayed on the parking space with the motorhome. The hotel toilet and electricity were included in the price for €10.The parking space is located directly on a street, but it is also quite quiet at night. If the spaces near the connection box are occupied, a long connection cable is required. But in itself a great place with a great price/performance ratio.

There is a motorhome parking space (10€/night) with electricity. No VE possible. Very quiet. The swimming pool and sauna in the hotel can be used (10€/pers.)We would choose the parking space again.

We were there for one night. It's a cozy hotel. Of course, one or two things there are getting old and there is certainly a need for renovation in some places. But overall everyone is very friendly and helpful. At check-in they explained to us what happened with the small one. Swimming pool and the key worked and gave us the WiFi password straight away. We were simply satisfied and will happily come back there if it suits us. The food in the evening was also very tasty and the breakfast was very plentiful. Anyone who has something to complain about about the food is simply spoiled. My opinion! We liked it very much.

We were able to spend almost a week here. The rooms are nice and large and functionally furnished. The mattresses in our room were very soft and could be replaced over time. The breakfast buffet was rich and tasty. Upon request, there were even gluten-free rolls for breakfast for Junior, which is not yet a given here in Germany. Big praise for that. The hotel has a pool house with an 11x5m pool and a sauna and wellness area. The pool has a depth of 1.30m, which is enough to swim a few lengths if it rains again. There are also 2 saunas that invite you to take a sauna at 70 and 90 degrees. So if you are looking for peace and relaxation far away from the tourist hotspots and can ignore a few little things, this is the right place for you.

Room was clean, with a small fridge, swimming pool and sauna area were good. Very friendly staff and the food was very good and the portions were sufficient. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone. We are very satisfied.

Outdated *** hotel, which is currently for sale, has been in need of renovation for at least 10 years! The hotel advertises itself with pictures of the adjacent new holiday homes - the hotel rooms are equipped with old, partly broken furniture, broken lights in the bedroom and bathroom, black joints in the shower enclosure, thin/feudal-like towels - there are even none in the adjacent swimming pool and sauna Additional towels ready, etc... this hotel is not recommended - every euro is too much!

Unfortunately, we didn't read the reviews enough - otherwise we would have saved ourselves this disappointment. The telephone contact when making the reservation was sobering and not particularly guest-friendly. …
