Right in advance. I was last in this hotel in 1998 as an 8 year old child. And it feels like nothing has changed here since then. And I don't mean that in a positive way.Regarding the rooms, it should be said that the furnishings are not only old-fashioned and worn, but some of them were also not cleaned properly. The biggest disaster is the bathrooms. We have an old curtain in front of the shower and, to top it off, a GDR mixer battery. The children didn't know how to get pleasantly warm water out of there.A large balcony facing the forest is positive. However, you have to expect a lot of construction noise, as the Asgard's forest-side balconies are being given a new block. For the guests who booked a forest view there, it was an even greater impudence. We are also talking about absolutely unbelievable prices here. In mid-October there are 4 of us here with a parking space and a dog. For 5 nights it's still 1100 euros. The location of the hotel is of course perfect, that has to be said clearly. Right on the promenade and on the beach, just great. Also worth highlighting is the Sinatra Bar on the 4th floorHappy hour is from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., cocktails from 4.50 to 6 euros, which are very tasty, are served there with an incredibly beautiful view. After happy hour, of course, they cost twice as much.Anyway, you get the feeling that the maximum amount of money is being squeezed out of the guests. Breakfast is never that of a 4-star hotel. Extremely disappointing.Spa area is also closed due to construction work. We were allowed to use the Bernstein thermal baths, which are not far away. It involved a bit of walking, but it was pretty nice. All in all, I would advise everyone to look for a better hotel for the money. It's a shame, especially because, as mentioned at the beginning, I had wonderful childhood memories here. But that doesn't help if the rooms remain in the 90s and the cleanliness, the food and everything else around are not up to par.

Unfortunately quite expensive and there is currently construction noise. However, the service was great and we got a quieter and better apartment! Still waiting for promised compensation!

First of all, on the positive side: The rooms were nicely tidy and there was a large balcony. That's it.On the negative side:I paid €247 for one night so I could use the full wellness package for my mother because it was her birthday. Swimming pool, sauna, wellness spa, massage. This was the only reason why the price for one night (check in at 3:00 p.m., check out at 11:00 a.m., so less than 24 hours) was justified. Now we arrive, we are told that the pool is being rebuilt and is not available. There are no longer any free massage appointments. There are no free facial care appointments either. The fitness room is also not accessible.A few hours after booking, I was informed by email that you could go to the Bernsteintherme on request and that it would be closed until Sunday due to a chlorine gas problem. So I paid €247 for NO SERVICE.Now comes the very best:On Saturday I wanted to go into the sauna, let me know, and in 15-20 minutes the sauna was already warm - 65 degreesThe next morning at 9:17 I asked if I could go to the sauna. The "nice" lady at the reception told me that this wasn't possible because I would have had to register in the evening, the burner is now coming: THE LIST WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY. I looked at the list and thought wow, looked at it again and then she probably realized that I thought it was ridiculous. So she came up with something new. "Yes, the sauna takes 2 hours to warm up."I then told her that I was there yesterday and it only took 20 minutes. However, she refused and then said, yes, there are problems with the electricity, a defect.Without words. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in, I'm trying to get my money back through Booking.Breakfast was very poor. Only eat cold food, nothing seasoned, etc.In this house, the problem of racism was felt very strongly. Naughty guests, cheeky staff. Never again.I generally DO NOT recommend this place to you guys!!Envy and hateful Germans. It's unbelievable that something like this is happening in 2024.But when they go on vacation abroad, they always want to be treated well.My mother's birthday was ruined thanks to this terrible stay.

The hotel's location right on the Zinnowitz promenade is the best thing. Our room was large, we had a balcony and it was very quiet. Unfortunately it wasn't completely cleaned beforehand. There were cobwebs with spiders everywhere on the upper floor of the room. Can always happen in summer, but shouldn't happen at this price. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. The breakfast coffee was without flavor and is more for people with heart problems. What we find very critical in this price range is that you have to pay extra for espresso, latte macchiato etc., €2.50 per cup! That's a disgrace. In our opinion, both restaurants are rather average, Meereswarte is the better.

Attention, ask before booking❗️❗️ View🤓🤓🤓 from one of the Asgard (formerly view of the forest side) now goes directly to the new building4 stars ❓️The hotel is fine for families. The front desk staff is super nice. Thank you so much for that.👏👏👏It is not the first choice for holidaymakers with demands.❌️From school trip charm 🏃‍♀️‍➡️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️‍➡️😅 to furniture 🪑🪑 that is getting old. The 🛁 bathrooms urgently need a thorough cleaning! Just dirty❗️Breakfast until 10:30 a.m. Sleeping in is no longer necessary.I was a regular guest at this hotel for many years, but unfortunately the situation has recently deteriorated significantly. The development that requires construction work to be accepted as a matter of course is not acceptable to me. Too many times during my stay I was faced with noise from drilling and hammering in the spa area without being informed about it in advance. If I had known that such disruptions were to be expected, I would have chosen a different hotel. In May 2024 there was only a note asking for understanding, which I find to be insufficient. This approach is legally questionable and should be reflected in a fair price-performance discussion when agreeing to the construction work.I hope that the hotel will be more transparent with its guests in the future and avoid such inconveniences. It should be emphasized that the apartments now also have a balcony on the front sides.👍Car parking 🚗: This should urgently be regulated better during the high season.Otherwise:- Kitchen old- Breakfast: Coffee is poor, sausage selection is very poor- Cleanliness in the room is more than borderline- Price for rooms and apartments not justified.- Parking space on the day of departure will be charged in full🧳My suitcase is now going back to other, real 4 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotels on the Baltic Sea (also different place, as Zinnowitz has very old hotels"historical furnishings" 😅that seem to get the most out of the guest), which can also have a finished spa area.

I expected something better for this price. The breakfast is very poor. The food is almost the same as Lidl and very little choice. We have been here for three days and no one has changed new towels. I wasn't particularly surprised by the friendliness of the staff either. bad water, which made my skin itch. The only good thing was that the sea is very close.
