Location is excellent, 100m to the natural beach. Unobstructed view of Hiddensee, wonderful natural stone path. idyllic, quiet outskirts location. Large, free parking lot directly opposite the hotel.Cleanliness of the room upon arrival: there were a lot of cobwebs in the windows and balcony door area (not from 1 day or 1 week), there were some live spiders and a lot of small dead insects, it was very bad in the area of the ceiling rail of the curtain. There was absolute chaos in the area - it was disgusting!!! Because there were a lot of small insects living there (offspring of spiders?) Individual webs were on the ceiling, in the wardrobe area and on the lamps (above and next to the bed). There were also old deposits of dust on the headboard of the bed frame, which could also be found on the lamps. The spider webs with insects described above were also found on the outside of the uncleaned windows and the balcony door. The balcony railing was also covered in cobwebs and nothing had been cleaned for a long time. The table with a glass top on the balcony was dirty with old bird droppings. After cleaning on our part with insect spray and rags, we managed to establish a certain standard that allowed us to spend the next nights without feeling very disgusted. There was nothing to complain about in the bathroom. From our point of view, a good quality insect screen in suitable frames and an appropriate system for the balcony door could have avoided the dilemma. Individual insects in the room are normal, we know that too. The reception and departure formalities were carried out in a very Nordic, cool manner (few words, eye contact with the guest was avoided). WiFi was guaranteed throughout the entire house, but is only available selectively in the reception area. The carpeting in the room had certainly seen better days. This also applies to the wardrobe.

We had a wonderful holiday on the island of Dranske. We went to the restaurant several times to eat, very nice service and very tasty food. We liked it very much.

Nice, small hotel 🏨 with about 25 rooms, some with balconies and terraces. Very good and rich breakfast. Very nice staff. Rooms are clean with small drawbacks. (Stains in the carpet) Rooms are a bit old but still functional.

We didn't use the hotel. That's what the restaurant is for. Very friendly and competent service. Delicious fish. Day ticket takes a bit of getting used to, but it works. Very delicious. Can only be recommended.

We were only there to eat. You should reserve in advance, which we did.The restaurant offered warm cuisine from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.When we arrived we were led into a winter garden and asked to sit at the front of a window and sliding door. We were told we would be more undisturbed there with our dog.Besides us, there were 2 x2 guests present.They sat at a table with a corner bench.As soon as we entered the room and took off our jackets, it seemed quite cool to us.Since the restaurant wasn't open until 5:00 p.m., we assumed that the radiators had just been turned on and were hoping that it would get warmer, what an illusion!The pike perch fillet was served with mixed frozen vegetables with a dollop of hollandaise sauce and hash browns.The frozen vegetables were still very firm to the bite, the pike perch fillet had a breading that I couldn't identify and the only thing that really tasted good were the hash browns. And the whole thing cost an impressive €17.80 without VAT.I can only recommend the 3 stars because of the friendly service.

A great little hotel.It's only a few minutes to the beach (stone beach).From there you can look directly at the Hiddensee lighthouse.
