We had a wonderful time in this hotel for a week. I would particularly like to emphasize the friendliness and helpfulness of the employees. A place has even been lovingly set up for the dog. The breakfast buffet was perfectly fine and requests were catered for. The wellness area was also really relaxing. The only point deducted is that the access to the upper deck outside is much too narrow. The color at this point shows that some cars have already taken this corner. Maybe this could be expanded. Because over the years cars have become larger and wider. But all in all, it was great and we would love to be guests in this house again.

Very nice hotel, have been guests many times, the staff is generally very friendly, although not quite so on our last arrival. The greeting at the reception was by a lady with the abrupt request "Name!" (not a "Welcome!" or “Did you have a good journey?”), which is a shame, the first impression is so important

No smoke detectors in the rooms. Very worrying!The guest is not king here. As a family we had booked two rooms which, despite our request, were very far apart on floor 4. Now there is a narrow wrap-around balcony on the floor, which would have made it easier to keep the distance between the rooms... However, we were promptly warned for disturbing privacy, even though this "open" balcony leads to a roof terrace. These are an escape route. As such, however, this would have neither the necessary width nor the possibility of descending via a staircase or ladder. This cannot be understood in the escape route overview.For one night and booking two rooms, poor customer service!!!The “Note* was also worded in a very unfriendly way, never again for us.

We stayed here for three nights and felt very comfortable, slept well, had a great massage and enjoyed an extensive breakfast buffet. There were extra vegan plates for us with as much spreads and cold cuts as we wanted and plant-based milk anyway.

We were there for 3 days before getting on the ship. Very nice hotel, exemplary cleanliness, very helpful service. Our room was nice and large and well furnished, there was enough storage space. What could be improved are the rolls in the morning, otherwise the breakfast is very good. The evening meals are also very tasty! The public rooms are modernly furnished. The rooms could be adapted to the modern style. The sauna area with roof terrace is also very nice. The location is great, right on the beach and to the town center and harbor and still very quiet. We will definitely come back again!!

We spent a week on vacation in January. We have been to the Hübner several times now, usually we stayed in a room with a balcony and sea view, this time these rooms were fully booked, so we stayed in a room with a side sea view, the rooms are identical to those on the sea side, unfortunately very early loud from the street, we always had to close the windows, which was very annoying! The highlight of the day was the great wellness area, also the great massages, thanks to the super nice professionals in the massage department, of course the great swimming pool, sauna with sea view and the relaxation area are highly recommended. Our recommendation is to use this area in the morning, we were often all alone in this area. The breakfast buffet is varied. It was my birthday during our stay, my husband had ordered flowers for our breakfast table and a glass of champagne before we started our trip. The flowers were placed on the table when we entered the breakfast room, without any congratulations from the waitress (it wasn't a trainee) - me I think for a 4-star hotel this has to be a nice gesture. We didn't get the glass of champagne we ordered either, so we just left it at that. The rooms are cleaned and lovingly prepared by the chambermaids every day. We liked the underground car park, the car is safely parked and an elevator takes you directly to the desired hotel floor.

We were there on business and unfortunately didn’t know that “Hanse Sail” was there. Parking is then very difficult and unfortunately the height information for the hotel is not correct either. So be careful, it's not 1.90m.There was a booking error - it remains to be seen whether the error occurred on our side or on the hotel's side. We definitely arrived a night late. We would have needed another night to avoid having to drive 8 hours home after a tiring day at work. Unfortunately there was no accommodation at all from the hotel. We were charged for the entire first night and for the next night we would have had to pay €240 per person according to employee A and €290 per person the next day according to employee B. She then kindly wanted to give us €240 - but that was already the price offered. There are cancellation regulations, but it is always up to the hotel itself how exactly it is handled. There was no service work for the first night, so a deal could have been found - very disappointing and not service-oriented. We didn't have the expectation that we would get everything refunded, but we did have the expectation of being accommodated. We then left and can't imagine that this night was still booked as the weather was very bad anyway.But the location was very good.The rooms are a bit old-fashioned - it doesn't bother me but it smells extremely like smoke even though they are non-smoking rooms. Unfortunately, ventilation doesn't help as it's hard to create a draft
