We were in Schwerin last weekend and found a decent little hotel, close to the castle and close to the city center. The breakfast was also absolutely fine. We'd love to come back.

The agreement between the employees leaves something to be desired when it comes to setting the breakfast tables. Based on the booking. If you ask nicely, the breakfast team will be rudely approached

Never again! Completely disorganized and haphazard.Despite booking confirmation and reservation number, no booking could be found. We then got a basement apartment that everyone could look into from the outside. We first had to remove the cobwebs everywhere.Parking space was confirmed for 6.50 euros, suddenly cost more... etc. I could mention many more points.Conclusion: Pretty much the worst hotel experience I've ever had.

The location of the hotel was very good, just a few minutes walk from the castle and the old town. But as soon as we entered the hotel, we were greeted by a musty smell. The room facing the inner courtyard was quiet, but very loud facing the street, as the tram stopped right in front of the door day and night. Nice reception, but we were immediately charged and told that the rooms would not be cleaned. If you want a fresh towel, you should put it outside the door. We were very surprised. The rooms were only superficially clean, especially the bathroom needs to be cleaned better. The rooms were shabby, there were a lot of signs of wear and tear, on the closet, on the bathroom door... For €8.00 you could park your car on a gravel road with lots of potholes. The parking lot was more reminiscent of a construction site entrance. The breakfast room was constantly overcrowded, but the food on offer was otherwise okay. But there was only packaged jam, honey, no fresh yogurt, scrambled eggs went cold quickly, juice was lukewarm... Overall, the location was great, but we would have expected something better for this price. A bit of a shame!

The property is located a short walk from the center and you can see Schwerin Castle from the road. The bathroom was new but otherwise the structure is a little dated although well looked after apart from the dust that was everywhere in the room. There was no air conditioning but a dismantled fan which we fixed. The complete breakfast with everything! Our room which overlooked the tramway was a little noisy.

Central hotel from which the old town can easily be reached on foot. The room was clean, the furnishings were simple but absolutely fine. Breakfast buffet rich and with everything you can expect. Very nice staff overall. Recommended for a weekender. If you expect luxury, you should book somewhere else.

When checking in we had to wait forever because the receptionist was stuck on the phone. The room was ok. At breakfast we waited 10 minutes for the coffee and the rolls were baked too long and were hard. The location near the castle is great.

Unfortunately we were disappointed this time.Firstly, we were not informed that the reception would no longer be staffed from 6 p.m.Since we have a further journey and given today's traffic conditions, we could have arrived after 6 p.m. and we would have found the door closed.Secondly. This time we were accommodated in the adjacent building, which we were not told when we made our reservation. Since there is no elevator, we had to carry our luggage to the second floor.We then had to go back to the main building for breakfast.Third. We had to pay our bill immediately upon arrival because apparently there wouldn't have been time when we left, we had booked for three nights. Which really irritated us.Fourth. The cleanliness also left something to be desired.Staff was nice and breakfast was oh good.

Good location near Schewin Castle and a few minutes walk away from the city center. Tram station just outside the hotel too. Quite a big room. Use it mainly as a base to visit the castle 🏰 and garden. Lovely visit and enjoyed a lot.
