The hotel is in a great location, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet is rich and tasty.Unfortunately, a restaurant was not available during our stay.Unfortunately, the entire house is very old and doesn't seem very well maintained. Our room was in bad condition. The furniture was in an advanced state of wear, some of the carpeting was dirty, some of the trim strips were hanging down. The non-obvious areas were heavily soiled. There was advanced mold growth in the bathroom. The whole thing was unreasonably expensive at over EUR 184 per night. Since the overall impression of the hotel did not give the impression that our room would be in a different condition, we refrained from complaining on site. We didn't think it would be possible to improve the room by moving it to another room.We therefore contacted the hotel group with a request for a 30% discount. We rejected the counter offer of a 12% discount. This still would not have represented reasonable value for money.Any discount was then excluded. There seems to be a strange understanding of customer service here.Unfortunately for us this will be our last stay in this house and with the provider behind it.

The hotel has only recently reopened and is located between Vitte and Neuendorf in the Dünenheide. To stay mobile you have to be good on foot or have a bike. The furnishings in the rooms and house are from the 90s, but everything was clean and intact. We particularly liked the warmth of the staff, which is rarely found in hotels these days. At breakfast there was something for all tastes. The possibility of dinner would be ideal - given the remoteness. There is probably a lack of a chef here at the moment. The beach can be reached with a twenty-minute hike through the beautiful dune heath. All in all, the hotel is worth recommending.

Beautiful location. Clean hotel. Very rich breakfast. Service friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately no lunch or dinner. Drinks and snacks are available at any time. Drinks are chilled. The Baltic Sea is about 1 km away. But it's nice to walk through the heath.

Unfortunately it's getting old.Everything is very shabbyNew owner is about to renovate... which doesn't stop us from asking full prices. For 160€ without breakfast you expected something different. But everything can be rented out on Hiddensee in high season. We're excited to see what happens after the renovation.

I booked a room, then suffered a serious accident resulting in a concussion three days before arriving. I pleaded with them to let me cancel, and they told me “even God couldn’t give me back my money.” Heartless people, don’t go anywhere near them. Wouldn’t trust them with friends and family.

My husband was supposed to go here on vacation but shortly before he had a serious accident and a shock with bleeding. This hotel absolutely refused to cancel the reservation and refund our money despite the facts that he is strictly banned from traveling. How heartless can you be?****My husband was supposed to stay at this hotel on vacation but shortly before had a serious accident in which he suffered a concussion and hematoma. The hotel absolutely refused to cancel our reservation and refund our payment despite the fact that he was strongly forbidden to travel by his doctor. How heartless can you be?

The only bright spot in this hotel for us was the breakfast buffet and the service staff there as well as the small sauna. The selection for breakfast was plentiful and you can tap delicious coffee specialties yourself from the machine for breakfast. When we checked in we didn't really feel welcome. The young man, dressed inappropriately casually, was curt and seemed more preoccupied with other things than with us. We had to look for our room ourselves in the completely winding house. The outdoor areas and also the rooms are very neglected and run down. Our room hasn't been dusted for a long time. In the bathroom there is mold growing in and next to the shower. The floor in the room is uneven and the carpet is stained, the pillows are unusable, there is no blackout. The room door didn't close properly because it was warped. There are no motion detectors in the hallways, you almost trip over hanging WiFi routers or landings. There were ipuro fragrance bottles everywhere to cover up the musty smell. The balcony and room windows were dirty. The balcony furniture is cheap plastic chairs without cushions. There is no privacy either on the balconies or on the terraces. The e-bikes could not be stored safely. It is a relatively long walk to the beach from the hotel. The hotel has a very poor price-performance ratio.

Friendly, flexible check-in. Great room. Very good breakfast. We spontaneously went to Hiddensee and would love to come back to this hotel.

There were two of us and it was the second time we had stayed at this hotel within a year. We really enjoyed it, just like the first time, and we'd love to come back again. The lady at the reception was very nice. Rooms were clean. The food at breakfast was simply great. The fact that there was no restaurant didn't bother us. There are definitely reasons for that. We come from the catering industry ourselves... Kind regards from Barth
