I am very disappointed with the lack of flexibility of the employees. We had taken part in a dance workshop with several people and wanted to have a coffee or a cola on the terrace at 11.30 a.m. afterwards. Wasn't possible. We were told it was still breakfast and therefore no one had time to serve us.This is really not customer friendly!

I can only warmly recommend the Meergut Hotel on the Baltic Sea! My stay was simply fantastic. The location is perfect - just steps from the beach, and the views are breathtaking. The room was stylishly and comfortably furnished and I really enjoyed the peace and relaxation. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly and helpful staff, who were always available to answer questions and always had a smile. The breakfast was a highlight – fresh, varied and simply delicious! There was something for every taste.I really appreciated my time at the Meergut Hotel and am already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The hotel makes a great impression at first glance, but the rooms quickly show that this impression is deceptive. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired: I found strange hair in the bed and the sheet had a hole. The room was dusty, there were cobwebs and dust everywhere. The walls were damaged by dead insects and traces of furniture. The smoke detector was missing in my room, only the bracket was still there on the ceiling. The carpet wasn't vacuumed properly because strange hair accompanied me until I left. There were also deficiencies in the bathroom - the toiletries were empty, limescale stains ran throughout the room, and the floor was not thoroughly cleaned. In my opinion the room price is in no way justified. The breakfast, on the other hand, was good and the view from the dining room was fantastic - you just weren't allowed to look up.Why didn't I say anything? Because I still enjoyed the two nights, the beautiful view from my room made up for it.The restaurant was very well maintained, the staff friendly and accommodating, even if I found the price-performance ratio to be too expensive.I would also have liked the reception to be more friendly. Some employees were taciturn and only greeted when asked. There is definitely room for improvement here, as the reception is the flagship of the hotel and service should be given priority.I was there mainly for relaxation and a massage. I can't say much about the SPA because I didn't use anything other than the massage. On the first day I had a cupping massage on my legs which was very painful - probably not a good choice on my part but overall it was fine. On the second day I was looking forward to a full body massage, but the joy didn't last long. I asked to leave out my stomach and bottom and that was respected. However, the massage as a whole was very unprofessional: I lay almost exclusively on my stomach, my back and legs were massaged, then I was supposed to turn around and my face was only stroked briefly - that was it. The room was cool, brightly lit and the floor dirty, which didn't help with relaxation. The masseur should definitely work on his technique and the ambience.Would I recommend a massage here?Unfortunately no.Would I recommend the hotel?Because of the breathtaking view: Yes.The restaurant? Even if the food wasn't quite to my taste, I can imagine eating there again and recommending it to others.Overall, despite the shortcomings, I spent two wonderful days there.

A fantastically beautiful hotel right on the beach. Large, very comfortably furnished rooms. Rich, delicious breakfast is offered. The spa/wellness area is also recommended. We felt very comfortable there and would love to come back.

We were there on the weekend of German Unity Day. Apart from the high prices that are charged on such weekends, it was a nice weekend. The room is very spacious. Unfortunately the bathroom has seen better days. (Rubber seals in the shower broken, wallpaper around the shower with water damage) The buffet was very sufficient. The staff is very friendly.

Events and weddings are preferred to the general public. Chaotic conditions with breakfast time allocation. Tables are dirty, there is discarded furniture in the hallway. Wine bottles and glasses line the hallways. Toilet doesn't flush properly. Food in the main restaurant in the evening was very bad. Criticism is not responded to. The hotel thrives on its location. Everyone is friendly, after giving a tip. At breakfast the grapes were rotten but were left on the buffet above ground. Reception tries hard but without a solution and is accommodating.

Very nice large rooms, great views. Good breakfast, nice staff. The pool should have a different access than through the nude area of the sauna…
