I'm extremely disappointed 😞, the room was damn small. No options to have a drink in the evening as there was no bar. Not suitable for visitors with disabilities as there is no elevator. We had dinner at another hotel, which was about 1.5 km away. Walking to the hotel is strongly recommended as there is no lighting and lots of potholes

Very nice hotel, rooms a bit behind the times. Breakfast was very good, dinner itself was good, just a bit chaotic in the process - a little different every day.

Why the hotel has two entries here on Google - I have no idea. The former Hotel Staphel has been called Hotel Mukran for some time. During GDR times it was first a holiday hotel and later also accommodation for workers during the port construction in Mukran. It is located somewhat out of the way on the edge of the forest on beautiful, green terrain. However, at the back, some distance away and only partially hidden by trees, there is a ruin of another hotel. If you have a room with a view to the back, this could be annoying. The Hotel Mukran is one of the cheap hotels on Rügen, which you can't tell from the outdated homepage (as of 11/2024). The hotel is offered there for well over 100 euros without meals. In fact, you can get a double room for 110 euros - and that includes breakfast and a 3-course dinner (in the partner hotel 5-10 minutes away). For this price you get sufficiently large rooms with good beds, stable internet, a usable refrigerator and a sufficiently large bathroom. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the food was good and we also really liked the location. But you also have to make compromises for the low price:The reception is only open until 4:30 p.m. There are some unsightly spots on the silicone seals in the bathroom and it is also a bit noisy. The room is only cleaned upon request - the information in the folder in the room was incorrect in many respects. Afterwards you should get a 5 euro voucher for every day you skip cleaning. In contrast to the rooms, the building (corridors and especially the emergency exits) was not very clean. This and the bathrooms are to be renovated in the foreseeable future. There is a bus stop near the hotel (about 500m). Otherwise you have to rely on a car or bike.We felt very comfortable here and found the price/performance ratio to be excellent. Nevertheless, the smaller defects do not allow for a full number of stars. We would definitely book here again!

Sufficient for a short vacation. As campers, we have more space in our tent. Staff are friendly but very uncoordinated at dinner.Very hidden in the forest. You have peace and quiet here.

A hotel that offers no service. There is a vending machine in the lobby with overpriced offers. Dirty, especially the bathroom. From 4 p.m. there is no longer a contact person in the house. With half board you have to go to another hotel which is about 1 km away. An employee is very unfriendly towards the guests, not to say rude.Breakfast was sufficient and good. All in all not recommended.Never again.

At first glance a nice hotel, at second glance more could be made of it in terms of the well-kept interior of the hotel and the outside areas. The path to the hotel is also in bad condition.

The hotel seems to be combined with the Hotel Mukran, at least that is on the site where I actually booked Mukran. In general it is very nice here, quiet, breakfast is very good and you can relax wonderfully.

Very dog friendly hotel. The staff is attentive and friendly. The rooms are practically furnished, everything is there. However, the bathroom in particular would benefit from a renovation. The path from the main road to the hotel is very bad. 30 km/h is mandatory, ten is almost too much. What's not good is there is no outside lighting. When you have to go out with the dog in the evening or early in the morning, it's very scary.

We decided on a short vacation to be able to switch off. The location of the hotel is in the forest so this should be possible if there weren't various things. Starting with the fact that no one is at the reception after 4/5 p.m. or there is any staff in the entire hotel, i.e. the doors are open day and night. You can't order a beer in the evening because there is no bar, but there is a snack machine that is sparsely stocked and the functionality leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the windows are equipped with fly screens, even if they worked. We had so many bugs and mosquitoes etc. in the room that it was hard to think about sleeping. The view we had was of an old run-down apartment block. Speaking of sleeping, down comforters are really uncomfortable when the outside temperature is 30°. I got hair from previous guests out of the bed sheets and towels. At least the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was okay too, except for the hairdryer...that should be checked urgently, hardly any hot air but the handle was already boiling hot and the hair was still wet. At breakfast things were often empty, such as the plates, coffee or rolls. The only good thing in the breakfast room was the children's play area. For dinner you had to drive/walk to the Hotel "Königslinie", about 10 minutes. On foot, the so-called "3 course menu" had to be chosen between 2 main courses, unfortunately they only offer "German cuisine" even though it was Italian Restaurant is therefore not recommended. Oh and the drinks with the super great 3 course menu have to be paid extra. The prices are sometimes outrageous. Well, when we booked there was a great offer of champagne for the time as a couple, a surprise for the child, etc., when I checked out I asked and they gave us the champagne bottle afterwards and the surprise was a small bag of gummy bears one would definitely hope for more. It is also not possible to pay in cash upon departure, as it would not be possible to take the cash to the bank in the evening. I think I have now made known all the things that are on my heart and remain. Not again!

When I arrived at the hotel I was already there because I had to know what me and my family wanted for dinner at 2 p.m. Assuming this, you could only choose between 2 meals. Well then we went into the room. First up the stairs, the railing was stuck and you could see from the white bars that they hadn't been cleaned. This gluing of the railings took place all weekend. The window sills weren't wiped either. In the room I had to go to the toilet first. I opened the lid and saw the K*** trace, probably from the people who had the room before us. There was a cute minibar but it was empty.Overall it was a very quiet area as there was only forest around. But I wouldn't recommend it because of the cleanliness and service
