If you are looking for a nice hotel room in Rostock, you have come to the wrong place. Rooms tiny, furniture unkempt, bathroom cramped and not particularly clean. There is no parking lot, you can park in another hotel for €20 a day. Breakfast is spartan...a slice of sausage for 2 people, a side dish of fruit from the day before????Never again!!!!!

Too bad. We were really looking forward to this little break in this special hotel. In connection with a concert we stayed one night and that was enough for us. The reception was nice but impersonal. We didn't necessarily feel welcome. The room was small and crowded. Equipped with bathtub and modern shower. It was very cold in the room and even more so in the separate toilet. A lamp was flickering constantly, a skirting board was off and streams of dust were fluttering around above the heater, which we then turned on. The bed...the mattress was sagging, the pillow (doesn't deserve that name) was a flat, smelly thing. We had breakfast in the foyer opposite the small reception. It was cold in this hallway room. The breakfast was in no way a hotel breakfast. No jam, but packaged Nutella, syrup and honey, no muesli, no yoghurt... We weren't even asked if everything was okay or if we would like some more tea or another hot chocolate. The small table offered hardly any space, but the used and no longer used dishes were not cleared away. So in my opinion the price/performance ratio is not justified here. The location is very good, the city center is within walking distance.

Not enough in all areas for this price...Rooms tiny, old unkempt furniture, bathroom not clean,No staff in the house in the evenings.Breakfast was more than poor...even the friendly service couldn't make up for that.No parking facilities available...we had to park our car at another hotel for 19 euros per day.

We chose the hotel due its historical character (800 years we were told). The experience was very nice scooting to the expectation- pictures and description was matching reality. Clean, caring service (checkin and checkout managed perfectly), good breakfast

This hotel is really something special. Very lavishly restored historic house, extremely stylish furnishings, excellent and attractively served breakfast, great location near the old town, a refrigerator and a minibar with exquisite wines that I have never seen before, even in five-star hotels! All of this at a relatively affordable price. The very positive overall impression could be perfected if attention was also paid to the maintenance of minor defects.
