Very beautiful thatched individual houses. Good breakfast on the terrace. The only criticism for us: the pillows were so huge and heavy, not suitable for sleepingBut you can request smaller pillows.

The hotel has a quiet, beautiful location on a small lake. The facility looks beautiful. Once in the room, the furnishings are nice and with the terrace the rooms were really nice. What bothered me was the cleanliness. You could really see a lot of spiders and the associated webs that hadn't been wiped away for a long time. If you take a closer look, there were also residues of sand under the couch and the coffee table. Speaks for quick but not necessarily thorough cleaning. In my opinion, the shower cubicle needs to be replaced because there was a lot of mold. Black mold could also be seen in the joints next to the toilet. The biggest drawback was the entrance fee for the pool. A whopping €6 per person we had to pay for it as guests. In other hotels the use of the pool is free! I think €6 is a disgrace! On the positive side, however, it should be mentioned that the breakfast was really very good. Only latte macchiato and other types of coffee could be offered free of charge, but that is complaining at a high level. For me it doesn't count as deducting stars. By the way, the hotel's own WiFi wasn't really usable.

Very nice facility that is a bit old. We spent 5 happy days there and were very happy about the not so crowded area during the summer holidays. When we asked about excursions for people with walking difficulties, we received very friendly but in no way helpful answers! Fortunately, things were completely different at the tourist information center in the port of Lauterbach. Breakfast was good, the coffee not so much. We ate once when we arrived in the evening, then preferred to eat at Nautilus or at the Lauterbach harbor. We had a large, noisy, clean room, sunny and bright at the entrance. The second was more in the complex, quieter and with a nice view. Beds and shower good. Our kitchenette was broken, so we made our take-away tea in the second room for everyone.

Very nice and quietly located hotel complex away from the tourist hotspots but still central. We had a room with a terrace, everything you need to feel comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. There were also enough parking spaces for bicycles and if the air on the tires was not enough, you would receive immediate and competent help from the staff. All in all a good address and highly recommended. We will be back.
