I just don't understand the bad reviews. Of course the hotel is getting old, but everything was clean and well maintained. The location is unbeatable and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right.I thought the breakfast was good, there was even salmon. I didn't expect that for the price. For me a clear recommendation for a city trip to Lübeck.

Everything in the room is very old and broken. The shower door doesn't work and the mattress has springs sticking out of it. The room is in need of renovation. There was a sock under the curtain.

The staff was friendly and nice.Cleanliness in the room was very poor and the floors in the hallways were also not cleaned. The garden in the yard was also very unkempt. So we wouldn't recommend it. The breakfast was okay.

Please please don't go to this hotel, we stayed there overnight yesterday, dirty and run down. We didn't eat breakfast because I thought we were going to the hospital for a few days afterward because of salmonella. I can't understand how a hotel like this can still be open here in Germany. It was definitely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've been traveling all over Germany for work for 30 years.

We were there from October 3rd. there until October 6th, 2024. The location is unbeatable. Breakfast OK. On the first day we complained that the heating wasn't working. Yes, it's just a bridge day. The advice that every heating specialist would have an emergency service was answered with: Yes, we'll take care of it. Unfortunately, from day to day we had the suspicion that we were not being understood and that no one had any desire to care. On the second day we bought knitted coats and lay in bed with them and an outdoor jacket. Yes, we're sorry. Complaints made again every day: Please put in a radiator, give us blankets. Nothing. No room change either. Temperature between 3! and 10 degrees outside temperature, north side. Until the end it wasn't clear whether a heating engineer was even there or had just looked at the central heating and not checked every radiator. So we were freezing in the room every day and until today 2 days later. At breakfast we found out that another couple had been without heating for days, and since today it finally does.... Apart from the location, the hotel can't score points.

Recommended for people looking for extreme experiences or masochists. We spontaneously went to the hotel (unfortunately without Googling it)The entire building is dingy. When we checked in, we were made aware that the elevator would occasionally get stuck, but it wasn't a problem - you just had to push the elevator door a little and it would usually move on.The room itself was surrounded by rooms that were officially sealed, according to the hotelier, water damage was responsible??Our room itself was dirty, the previous guest's toothbrushes were still in the bathroom, the fittings were dusty and sticky, the bed linen had yellow stains, all the soap dispensers etc. were empty, the floor was uneven. If you have problems with the bathtub, you should use your niece.

"I reserved a room in this hotel by phone 4 hours before my arrival. A price of 69 euros for a double room was agreed, based on the information on Google Maps. However, when I arrived at the reception it suddenly turned out that the Price was higher than agreed, even though I had confirmed the conditions again on the phone shortly before my arrival. The staff could not explain the reason for this price increase and offered me to either pay the higher price or find another accommodation ruined the entire stay and I had to look for alternative accommodation at the last minute. I am very disappointed with this treatment and the lack of transparency. I cannot recommend this hotel."

I strongly advise against this hotel. The experience was deplorable from the moment of arrival: the staff at reception were absolutely obnoxious simply because I couldn't show my passport until the next day. The room was in a terrible state, with broken furniture and non-existent maintenance. The breakfast was like the rest: moldy bread and overall very, very poor quality. The atmosphere is gloomy, almost as if they are doing everything to dissuade customers from coming back. Frankly, avoid at all costs, unless you're looking to plunge into depression.
