The room is functional and very clean. The location is very central. The breakfast is questionable. The sausage was dried out, not cooled and not edible for me. In my opinion, the meat and cheese salad offered was made from leftovers and was sour.

We had booked the Intercity Hotel for 3 days / 2 nights of Schwerin sightseeing. Rooms are functionally furnished but clean, breakfast was good. But above all, the hotel scores points with its location; you are e.g. E.g. a 15-20 minute walk to the castle. Parking is quite inexpensive in the immediate vicinity (tip: “Stadthaus” parking garage right around the corner 10 EUR/24h). Other: Quiet despite being close to the train station, drinks in the lobby (self-service) are a bit expensive, unfortunately there is no safe or refrigerator. Staff objectively friendly. Conclusion: Price/performance is completely fine, we would check in here again for 2 nights.

A neat, clean house. The rooms are a bit old and are starting to need box spring beds (in the single rooms - I can't judge the double rooms). the bed height. Still slept well. The bathroom is equipped with infrared and classic/practical. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was great, rich and varied. You could take filter coffee in a pot to the table and only had to make a special trip to the buffet for coffee specialties. However, it was very loud in the larger dining room when it was full. We just went for breakfast a little later the next day 😉. Otherwise very friendly and considerate staff in the restaurant and at the reception. City maps are available for an overview, and the red hop-on-hop-off bus stops right in front of the door. And you could only hear a marginal sound from the train station right next to the hotel. City buses and trams run right outside the front door, and the city center and old town can be reached in a maximum of 10 minutes. From the 5th and 6th floors, the rooms at the end of the corridor had a great view in the morning and evening (502 and 602 see sunrise), in mine there was a view of the train station square, which was also completely ok. We would book the hotel again because the arrangement of 2 nights plus dinner was a very good price-performance ratio at the end of September 2024.

Hotel extremely well located: next to the train station and opposite the bus station. You can walk to the center and all tourist attractions, restaurants, shops, shopping, even Schewrin Castle. Clean, quiet room, with comfortable bed and pillows. Well-located sockets for charging cell phones. Good wifi. Bathroom with good shower and good towels. Hotel a little old. We were instructed to park in a place close to the station costing 7 euros per day. There is also paid parking on nearby streets. Service at the reception was attentive, pleasant, with good English.

Comparing to the same hotel chain in Lübeck, where I had a wonderful experience the night before, I can say I was a bit disappointed.I made the reservation on Check 24 where they showed a price, and at the reception suddenly the price was higher. Ok, I accepted the conditions, because we expected the same conditions as at the previous hotel.Large rooms, as shown on the website. Breakfast ok, not the most varied, but consistent and they fed continuously.The cleanliness is a bit disappointed. I can understand that people are responsible for stains on the curtain, or after the carpet, but the toilet was only clean on the surface. You can clearly see from the photo the residual deposits and dirt in the toilet bowl, accumulated over time.It has an old air, the carpet is also old, it is clean in the hallway, at the reception and in the room, but there is room for improvement, as I specified the minuses above.
