We stayed at the Savoy Bad Mergentheim for three nights. Our impressions were quite positive; Yes, the hotel is getting old and the wellness area was not open. Our rooms were clean and the beds were good. The breakfast selection was clear, but it was always topped up. The staff, especially the receptionist, were also very nice. Summary there are certainly better hotels,But you have to see this in relation to the price, and it was incredibly good. Therefore we absolutely recommend it.Any time. Thank you Svoy

The room was very large and comfortable, unfortunately the refrigerator didn't work, it only served as a TV table, the hairdryer didn't work either, the extractor in the bathroom and toilet worked well, it's very cheap for guests who don't have high expectations, the price was very reasonable for us Okay, just old rolls, that doesn't have to be the case. Bread wouldn't be anything to sneeze at either. Very comfortable seating. The opening times for breakfast were too early and too short for us

A very quiet place with wonderful views from all corners! The staff at the reception and in the bistro/bar are very welcoming and nice. Breakfast is awesome! Only recommended.

Booked via an online platform at an unbeatable price and expected the worst. But far from it! The location is great above the roofs of the city with an impressive view from your own balcony. By the way, most rooms have a balcony. Service super friendly. Rooms clean and well maintained. Always my pleasure!The reason for the deduction is that the restaurant was closed in the evening, so you had to drive back into town to eat.

The two good points in this hotel are the very nice lady Ms. Pia from the breakfast service and the location near the spa park.The swimming pool, sauna and restaurant are permanently closed. And maybe soon the entire hotel too?The old building, built in 1987, is considerably worn out; the furniture and carpet are from that time. The paths are very long, winding and the rooms can only be reached via two elevators that are far apart.The only thing that was nice was the bar on the ground floor, the prices there were ok.The breakfast was below standard, the breakfast area at least had quiet areas.We can definitely rule out staying there again.

Very old! Feels stuck in the 90s. If the hotel is advertised with 4 stars/suns/points somewhere on HRS, Booking etc, be careful, it did not correspond to my personal impression of a 4... hotel. Maybe 3 xxx. Balcony was very nice. Distance to the old town is about 30 minutes on foot through a park. Some parking spaces are freely available.

We had booked a smaller room cheaply in the adjacent building. The room seemed clean. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, breakfast is only available until 9 a.m. during the week. We didn't think that was very nice. You're on vacation. It would have been a little more relaxed until 10 a.m. The location of the hotel is very good. It is only 450 meters to the thermal baths. The city itself is also within walking distance. We were satisfied and would come back.

My review refers to an overnight stay in September 2024:+ Very friendly staff at reception and at breakfast+ Lots of parking spaces and underground parking+ Bar area on the ground floor~ Fair pricing~ Cleanliness in the rooms adequate- Service in the bar area very awkward- Snacks in the bar area (e.g. frozen pizza unfortunately not really edible)- Furniture in the rooms is unfortunately very worn and in need of renovation- Bathroom with shower tray is no longer up to date- Repair work in the hotel is urgently needed (staircase railings without safety glass simply left open)- Payment not possible at checkout (had to be transferred later)

The room is shabby but clean. The breakfast was also quite good. We didn't miss anything. The staff is very friendly. I could definitely imagine staying there again.It's not a 4 star hotel. But it's really okay in terms of price. It suited us.

The price in Bad M. is almost unbeatable.But you have a clean but shabby and somewhat worn room. The rest of the hotel is also very old.There is a need for renovation and sometimes repair work everywhere.Wi-Fi perfect and plenty of parking spaces.

Just a few steps and you are at the thermal baths. A pleasant walk takes you via the rose garden to the spa park and further into the old town.The pleasant location offers you a quiet view of the Tauber Valley.The hallways in the house are free of carpets and yet the house is quiet. I was impressed by the wardrobe in the rooms. You simply slide your suitcases and bags into open boxes under the closet doors. The furnishings are very practical and simple and yet pleasant. It's simple and clean.Doors and windows close perfectly. There is sufficient parking space. We were passing through and thought about taking a look at Bad Mergenteim again for a few days.Most likely with the Hotel Savoy location.

The only gem of the hotel is the lady in charge at the reception - she tries the impossible to do the best for the guest, which is a big challenge. If there are problems/complaints and you agree to resolve them, then you can trust them without hesitation. The night porter is polite and courteous, as is the service manager.The overnight prices have fallen very low and are adapting to the relatively limited offer. Unfortunately, this hotel is not modernly equipped, and in my opinion you won't find any of the standard features for a 4 star hotel here. Overall I can only give 3 stars - but I would give the staff 3.5 - 4 stars, they are mostly oriented enablers in the area of actual and existing possibilities.
