I wasn't there as a guest, but my wife had asked if it would be possible to breastfeed our little baby in the toilet. The lady behind the reception replied "what with us, we're not a place for that" - I can understand that you don't want to be a public toilet for non-customers, but denying a small (9 month old) baby a short drink is fine something different again. We shouldn't be surprised if there are fewer and fewer young people - if people are so helpful or not. As a boss, I would give this colleague proper feedback (Saturday, September 21st at 3 p.m.) - as a customer, I will probably never go there again.

More than a 4 star, it can be classified as a hostel, there is no air conditioning, plus there is a total absence of a minibar in the rooms (at least in those assigned to us) the staff is friendly but the service is poor, the breakfast buffet at €26 it is practically a legalized scam.Excellent for the location but there are many things to review

The hotel is very centrally located and yet very quiet.The reception was very friendly, we were very well informed about the possibilities and activities in Salzburg. Every question was answered immediately or asked for us.The stay was very pleasant and we will happily book the hotel again on our next visit to Salzburg!

Location perfect and a beautiful old building. Unfortunately, everything inside was somewhat provisionally and cheaply prepared - mattress and blanket not comfortable, uncomfortable light, etc. Also very small rooms and windows into the not very nice atrium. Priced too expensive for the comfort.

This hotel is in a great location and the rooms are basic, but clean. This hotel did not overly impress us but it is hard to beat where it is located in Salzburg. I think little improvements in terms of service and amenities in the room would make a big difference.
