Very comfortable and easy self check in.Renovated cozy rooms. Very quite area close to many restaurants.We stayed only for one night and extremely appreciated the atmosphere.A tiny and private relax outdoor area is available.Note: Kettle, cups and glasses available but no amenities whatsoever (!).Hand soap, towels and hairdryer available but no others toiletries.No safe lock.

Behind my point of view,they have scammed us. They gave us a wrong code(maybe by mistake...) and after more than an hour waiting and trying to contact we received no response.Check in was until 24:00 and we arrived at 22:00.I don't understand why they were not available...Then they cancel the reserve in Airbnb to avoid any contact

Very nicely furnished guesthouse. The keys are stored in a key safe, there is no contact with the staff. Breakfast is not offered, but there are plenty of alternatives in town. …

2 nights in a quiet, beautifully renovated old town building in Rostock not far from the old port facilities. The room was quiet, spacious, bright and clean. The bed is comfortable and 180x200cm large.TV and internet worked perfectly. The bathroom was OK but unfortunately we had bad luck with the shower because the holder for the shower head was broken and the water drained very poorly. Access was very easy and practical using codes entered on the doors. No staff, no hustle and bustle. Plain, simple, great.

Nice apartments with easy check-in. We had booked a room through Nikolei Apartment, shortly before our arrival we were informed about an alleged "upgrade". Unfortunately, upon arrival it turned out that the apartment was very noisy and right next to a construction site. Neither the WiFi nor the TV worked. In addition, we had blood stains (or something similar) on the towels and unfortunately no one was available to help us with it at 9 p.m. €90 for one night is simply a disgrace. Even when we wrote an official email there was no response. We will definitely complain to booking.com too.

We had actually booked another accommodation via Nikolai Appartment, this one belongs to the same landlord and was mentioned to us as an "alternative".Apparently the apartment we booked and paid for was “victim of water damage”. But if you google it, you'll see that it's probably just a scam because people tend to overbook. Cancellation is possible via booking.com.So we were rebooked, so far not that bad, but!We were sure we had booked a balcony, this was negated and can no longer be checked. (Our bad luck)In addition, the replacement apartment is very poorly equipped, especially for the high price.There was no service, no intermediate cleaning, emptying of the trash cans, there were only 10 sheets of toilet paper left. So when we looked for something new and asked, communication was stopped!!!! So tomorrow we had to go and buy toilet paper... without words!Lt. There is a service note in the room, but there is a daily service for toilet paper, garbage, towels, etc...Incredible!In addition, the craftsmen from the neighboring construction sites woke us up at 730 tomorrow. Unfortunately, it was not possible to relax on vacation.This is probably also the reason why the rooms cannot be found officially. We will ask the city whether rentals were even allowed there.We reserve the right to take legal action, unfortunately communication is no longer possible and the landlord no longer responds to our inquiries!

For business travelers who are only in Rostock for a short time, this is certainly OK. Everything is very digital, so not my thing. Rooms are comfortable, the shower is very spacious, although blinds on the windows would be very nice as the neighbor opposite is only 10 meters away.
