In the dark, the entrance to the guesthouse within this agricultural complex is difficult to find. The stairs to the upper floors are narrow and steep, and even if you have walking difficulties you have to carry your luggage yourself.A bathroom and a toilet for five rooms that are occupied by strangers takes more than getting used to.The room contained a bed, a small round table with two chairs, a chest of drawers and a clothes rack.On the 1st floor there is a common room with a table and chairs and a kitchen - and a television, which is not otherwise available in the rooms.You can prepare meals there, but there is not enough crockery and cutlery. You can apparently make coffee and tea for free. There are two or three refrigerators where all guests can put their things; However, I didn't want to know what was inside.There is no breakfast from the house, you have to bring everything with you and shops are miles away.The accommodation is mainly inhabited by Eastern European fitters and workers. When I arrived there was something extremely foul-smelling in the oven in the kitchen, the stench reached all the way to the second floor. I opened the window in the room to ventilate the smell away. I noticed that when I sat in the room it smelled like the stuff in the kitchen and when I stood it smelled like something else. The open window let in the smell of the cowshed that belongs to the property.I have nothing against the smell of stables, I'm used to it from my childhood, but those were stables with straw and here I didn't see any straw at all, the 200 cows are probably kept tied up on slatted floors. This causes a nasty smell of ammonia that, with the best will in the world, you can no longer find pleasant.Luckily the window is so good that you can't hear the bellowing of the cattle that want to be milked and fed in the morning. I don't want to imagine that in the summer. Otherwise it's noisy, you can hear everything that's happening in the hallway.The room and the bed were clean, but the shower towel was smelly.Conclusion: This is hardly suitable for a vacation, this is accommodation for Polish fitters who don't mind having a bathroom for five rooms, or for large families who like to prepare all their own meals. If I stay near Tannhausen again, I would like to invest a little more. The accommodation is definitely not a bargain.

I had a nice stay at this farm and got to watch the cows, calves, and the workers milking the cow with a machine. For the price it's good value. Everything was clean and organised. They have a shared kitchen where you can cook your meals.

We had a nice, clean room with a bathroom, TV and WiFi.You can prepare your own food in a kitchen that is available.The guest house is attached to a farm. Anyone who likes a rural setting will like this place. A nice place to relax. The staff on site is very nice and accommodating.Free parking spaces are also available. There are two dogs on site who were allowed to accompany us on the walk after consultation.We were very satisfied and would like to vacation there again.

Nice guesthouse in the middle of a dairy farm. The providers and the employees on the farm were very nice. If you asked, you were even allowed to pet the calves and no, the cows and calves are not slaughtered, as someone else wrote here. Price performance was top.
