The staff here were fantastic; I couldn't ask for better. Shoutout to Kadek and Juni, they were pleasant and always quick to help!! The location is great as well—really quiet and peaceful, albeit a bit far from everything else. Now for the actual review.I’m not one to write negative reviews, but my experience here has been extremely unpleasant. I made my booking 62 days in advance. When I arrived, I was checked into a room that I didn't book. The next day, when I checked with management, they told me that due to some "error," they had run out of rooms, and I would not be able to stay in the room I booked—the Suite Room with Hill Views. Instead, I was "upgraded" to the most expensive room they have, which actually has no views, no balcony, and no outdoor space, no access to the mountain views. The manager proceeded to gaslight me by saying they had no way of contacting me regarding this "error" (I booked through Agoda, and my email and phone number were provided), and I have also emailed them seperately before. When I asked why I couldn't have the room I paid for for the remainder of my stay, they insisted the room was reserved for a guest arriving for the next seven days (a higher-value customer?). The manager then made two extremely insulting offers:1) They would allow me to cancel the remainder of my stay and only charge for the first night (the room I did not book), suggesting I find somewhere else to stay immediately (it was 3 PM in the afternoon).2) The manager suggested I move to their sister property, Shankara private villas, at my own additional cost since they do not own that property.Again and again, she insisted my room was an upgrade, but when I asked why they couldn't "upgrade" the seven-day guest instead, no answers were given. Throughout the entire conversation, they did not offer any compensation— not even a cup of coffee. They suggested I could stay just one night in the room I booked, then move back to my original room. Isn’t it lovely to switch between rooms on a holiday?I was basically told to get lost if I didn’t want to continue my stay there. I have never experienced such an unpleasant and insulting situation at a resort, let alone at one that claims to be luxurious.TL;DR: For those with important occasions to celebrate here, or if this holiday really matters, please DO NOT count on getting the room you reserved or paid for, especially if you want that mountain view for relaxation or a just private space to be in the mountains.

Very clean hotel, very comfortable bed and very large rooms. A truly excellent welcome tea is served at the reception. It remains in a very quiet area so you can rest very well. Breakfast is served in your room at the requested time and every evening you can choose what to eat from the proposed menu. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, excellent dishes with fair prices. Definitely a quality hotel.
