The campsite is located between the Main and the railway line. You can hear the train as well as the ships and vehicles on the nearby street. The staff was very nice. The sanitary facilities are always clean. Bread service is available.The pitches are big enough but mostly uneven. The place numbers on the Main cannot be assigned correctly. Unfortunately the power boxes are quite far away.

The journey and the reception were pleasant and friendly. Even though we arrived 4 minutes before reception closed.The place is clean and tidy. Signage is good and the view is nice.The showers and toilets were super clean. Hot water available immediately. Although the evening was already in the single digits.The location on a country road is just too noisy for camping. A restful night is out of the question with a tent.Otherwise top place.

Beautiful campsite on the Main. Sites are spacious and sanitary facilities are also more than good. You can arrive here late if you come to spend the night. You can then choose a spot and report it to reception the next morning. Rate is quite expensive but worth the money. The campsite is close to the village where you have more than enough restaurants.

There were two of us here with a caravan. Since we arrived outside reception hours, we were supposed to choose a place, get settled in and register the next morning. Absolutely problem-free. Very nice, flat place. Plots are sufficiently large. Right on the Main (swimming is forbidden here because it's too dangerous) you see larger ships several times a day. Sanitary very nice, new and always clean.The snack in the beer garden is decent.Beer garden is large and cozy.Many different accommodation options are available.You can hardly hear the train at all.The staff is without exception very friendly and accommodating.We are happy to recommend this place and hope to see you again...

We were at the campsite with small tents and bicycles in August 2024 and we didn't miss anything. We were able to set up the tents on a large, flat meadow. The staff was extremely friendly.The place is beautifully located directly on the Main and near Wertheim.Entry to the neighboring, well-equipped outdoor pool is included in the price. Also free use of the showers. Everything was spotlessly clean and in order.We'd love to come back!

Great campsite for a stopover to Austria. But also for a longer period of time. Wertheim has beautiful surroundings. Camping is fine. On the Main. With small basic facilities at the campsite.

Good spacious campsite, sanitary facilities sufficiently clean. Fresh rolls every morning that you must order the day in advance.Playground not necessarily for children under the age of 6.Campsite owners very nice!

Nice campsite right on the Main. On the river pitches you stand directly on the bank, ships and boats pass by, great. It was criticized here that it wasn't easy to get into the water, but the Main is not suitable for swimming. On the one hand, this is dangerous, pushing convoys up to 200m long, very fast recreational boats, and on the other hand, it is also forbidden because it is a federal waterway. Next door there is a very large outdoor pool with a slide and everything. Free with guest card, available at reception. Norma & Lidl in town within walking distance, Wertheim 10 minutes by bike, Kaufland, restaurant, castle, old town. Sanitary new and clean, food truck well, beer garden next door. Road far away and "noise" harmless, train route... almost nothing runs here. Mobile Internet with Telekom & O2 15MB, I don't know Vodafone. Power distributor a bit sparse. 25m cable is often not enough, but cables are available free of charge while stocks last. I would only recommend that the management stick arrows on the number boards at least at the bank places. Nobody knows whether he is on the right or left and that changes at the slipway, so confusion is inevitable. Oh yes, there is also a slipway. I'll come here more often!

Bike tour for 5.Grandma, father and 3 kids: 7, 7 and 10 years old.Phenomenal service at reception (arrived late and super friendly colleague).Wash house with shower, dishwashing room, washing machine, cooking room!!!Brilliant book exchange on the shelf.Well-maintained lawn with old and young trees. Hibiscus blooms beautifully.Even done permaculture: with walnut trees.The bathing area on the Main is, as usual, slippery :-) Thanks to the overabundance of geese and the over-fertilization of the Main valley??But professionals like us surfed in / grinded! So slid.Playground small and nice: climbing, volleyball and garden chess!!!Mega variety.Snack: looks cozy, but only classic Schniposa and tarte flambée.We preferred to get delicious, healthy salads from Rewe in the self-service department.For the end of August 2024: half full.

The campsite is very nice but it is right next to the train line, unfortunately you can hear that too. The sanitary facilities are relatively new and are cleaned regularly. There is a very nice view of the Main but you couldn't go into the water at our pitch. The outdoor swimming pool is very nice and you can use it for free. Very nice campsite.

Parking space by the river is wonderful! Sanitary facilities are clean and new. Also suitable for children. The old town can be reached in a short time and I really like it!

A super beautiful campsite on the River Main, spacious pitches and very neat and clean sanitary facilities (you don't often see such luxury at a campsite)!Downside: Only 1 person at the reception in high season, which caused us a long wait at check-in

First campsite at the start of “Departing the romantic road to the south”.Nice, quiet, long space on the Main with sufficiently large parking spaces. Sanitary facilities clean, top and well maintained. Trees provide shade, and when it rains you can sit comfortably under a giant wooden roof. For cyclists or campers without a caravan, there are also wooden barrels or tent cabins.There is also an outdoor swimming pool next door, which you can probably use at a reduced price or maybe even for free, just ask at reception.10 minutes by bike to Wertheim's old town on your own bike path on the Main. It's definitely worth walking up to the castle.Kaufland or Edeka are also not far away.We had a very nice afternoon, evening and morning at this campsite - highly recommended for a longer stay or even just passing through.We would love to come back again!
