We came without a reservation and after a short wait we got a place for 2 people. Half a knuckle is recommended, my wife had the fried chicken which was also highly recommended.

We used the hotel as a stopover on a trip to Croatia, and it is ideal for that. We had the Mercedes family room with a great view. Breakfast is simple but OK.

Completely overpriced flophouses. Musty carpet, tiny shower/toilet, sink lighting broken.

I ate the “best knuckle ever” there. We ordered "take away". And after a rainy day of excursions, the fantastic knuckle with the fabulous beer sauce (slight hint of caraway - just like that 😋) and a super tasty dumpling were real happiness makers. Finally, a huge portion of Kaiserschmarrn with plums as a bedtime treat. Everything tasted wonderfully. The meat is very soft and not a 3cm layer of fat. And the crust... crazy. The service perfect. Friendly but not intrusive. And everything very quickly. The restaurant is kept nice and rustic. Free parking available. Next time we'll definitely come in to eat (dry and clean).5 stars are not enough.

If the reception is bad, a lot needs to be made up for…Upon arrival (side entrance) no one present, we have to call a number. Then wait a long time before someone appears with a key. In the meantime we see that the restaurant is closed. Due to illness the sign says, but that appears to be from a few days ago. It's just a rest day, as we could have read on the site. Oh well, that's true, the 24/7 economy is sometimes still hard to find in Germany. We actually wanted to leave then, but cancellation was no longer possible without costs. We were given the key, the person in question (no idea who it was, in any case had not followed the customer friendliness course) closed the reception door behind him (and locked it) and there we were in a bare stairwell. Just figure it out. When we went to sleep in the evening (room and beds were otherwise fine) we had not seen anyone yet, it felt like a ghost hotel, or in German: uncannyIn the morning the reception was open and there appeared to be a cozy restaurant and we were told hello for the first time. The breakfast was delicious and we looked out on the beautiful terraceThe low rating is mainly due to the disrespectful treatment upon arrival

During the play we served and ate. That was very disturbing. The play was very nice. The answer is a disgrace! It's nice to hear a customer-friendly answer...
