Everything is very dark. Walls and tiles are all very covered and there is not enough lighting. Stairs (no elevator) very steep. Room for 2 people very small. Bed more spacious for 1 person than for a couple. The bathroom is also narrow and there are exactly 2 hooks in the bathroom apart from a closet in the room. No breakfast - but - praiseworthy - free coffee! We were there twice: for the first and last time! P.S. I spend around 180 hotel nights a year and know what I'm writing about!

Ladies and GentlemenI booked 2 rooms in the Platin Hotel for 3 adults on August 13th, 2024.Booking number: 46152480501 double room and one normal room.The problem started when checking in on September 28th, 2024. There was no one at reception when we arrivedand the machine for a check-in card is not working, i.e. broken.A guest had already been sitting in the waiting area for over an hour and was also unable to check in.I was then able to reach someone by phone. After 30 minutes an employee came.My booking was not found on the computer.The employee seemed very nervous and after a few minutes she picked out 2 rooms and handed me the keys.The double room for 2 people was a normal room. You simply put a second set of towels on the bed.In the bathroom there was only one toothbrush cup for one person at the sink.At 9:15 p.m. I was down at reception again and found a guest named Boris Ouya (room 327) who had locked himself out.I called the hotel's hotline several times, called the mobile number and wrote to them via Whatsapp, without any success.The boy had to spend the whole night until the next morning (Sunday September 29th) on the couch at the reception.I understand that the reception cannot always be staffed. However, someone should at least be reachable via the hotline.In the event of an emergency, no employee can be found in the entire building.This is not a service and I will certainly not recommend this hotel.I have never experienced anything like this, whether abroad or at home.Best regardsAlexander Leonov

The only positive thing I can write about this hotel is the fact that the lady at the reception let us cancel the room free of charge... Otherwise, the hotel is for anyone who doesn't want to sleep in a dark, smoke-smelling room would like, an imposition. The bed is very narrow (I estimate 1.40m wide). I can't find any information about the beds being so narrow either in booking or on the hotel homepage. We originally booked because it was the only available hotel near the Donau Arena at the time of booking. Luckily, we spontaneously got a room in another hotel where we were extremely happy.

You arrive, there is no one there to check in, the machine that is supposed to be for check in doesn't work. Some poor woman tries to help, but it's clearly not her job.You can't call something like that a hotel. Really bad.

Very nice lady at the reception.Parking lot very large and in the back yard.Rooms are adequately equipped as normal. Unfortunately our TV remote control didn't work. The battery is probably empty. Unfortunately there was no one there after 6 p.m. and we couldn't let them know - it wasn't a bad thing, we had a deck of cards with us. As a couple we paid €75 a night. No parking fees. No breakfast.

Hello, I thought for a long time whether I should write anything here at all, but it's just a mess how they try to deceive the guests here.It's neither really hygienic nor does it make you feel well served there.This reminds me more of a guesthouse that offers more comfort than this hotel.I don't even want to know whether the beds were taken from your old company (Puff), as were the bed linen, etc.You are lured with a wellness suite, which is neither really clean nor does it comply with legal regulations at all.I really recommend a guesthouse in Regensburg for a cheap stay or one of the hotels from larger chains.If you want to go on vacation, you don't want to be ripped off just because of a lack of specialist knowledge.Best regardsNo more guests of yours

Not a second time.Overall very disappointing.Reception is rarely staffed, the light in the toilet in the basement works, the urinal and sink don't flush and there is no information posted anywhere like "defective" or similar.Coffee/cocoa machine at breakfast time (the only time you can get free drinks), not filled with cocoa and the drinks machine on the ground floor swallows money without spending anything. Inserted €3 twice and tried to buy water. 1st attempt: nothing comes out, 2nd attempt a cup of candy comes out. Of course you can't report this to the hotel because the reception is not occupied and departure is imminent...The shower was good.Overall very disappointing. Would take a different hotel next time.

No matter what time you get nervous, just press the code given to you in the box at the hotel entrance and you have your key.. it's that simple.. the hotel is clean.. they decorated it with beautiful graffiti and pictures.. if you have business to come here, try to stay..

They sent me a wrong code and when I contacted them they didn't admit their mistake and didn't return the money but rather blocked me from their WhatsApp.They don't have a discussion style, I just don't recommend booking them

We stayed at this hotel because it is close to the Donau Arena. We attended a concert there. The hotel is very nicely decorated. The rooms are rather small. The beds are very small for 2 people. But otherwise it was OK for a weekend. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the hotel does not offer breakfast. At the reception you can get free coffee from a coffee machine until 11 a.m.

I have to say that I'm surprised that no one writes about the wrinkled bed linen in the reviews. I would never let a guest sleep in a bed like that. Yes, it's seersucker, which usually doesn't need ironing. But it has to be washed and dried properly so that it retains its special structure!!But here it was so wrinkled that you thought someone had just been lying in it and the bed hadn't been washed. You can see it clearly in the photos, as if someone had just sat on it. I know that the lady (she was nice at the beginning) now writes that she never irons bed linen and it sounds so wrinkled. So, sorry, never. I rent out myself and know all the bed linen. But - there is also the fact that bacteria are only destroyed when ironing. Even if she said that she washes the bed linen at 90 degrees (which is no different to 60 degrees - I learned that as a hygiene officer) and adds disinfectant, that doesn't help!Well, it may be that she does, but I don't want to deny it. But unfortunately a guest does NOT see whether and how it was washed, he only sees the crumpled bed linen.I don't want to sleep in bed linen like that, the thought of who was lying in there before. It doesn't work at allNo matter what she answers now. Fact is fact.She preferred that we cancel. It worked too. In a hotel I expect freshly ironed, smooth bed linen, but nothing like this! I don't know that either! The discussion about a queen size bed (normal 140 - 160 wide) - well, it doesn't matter, the bed seemed very narrow to me. For me it was definitely a single room, but not a double room. The room was very small. No seating for 2 people. No table, just a small board in the corner that wouldn't even accommodate a laptop. Including ONE stool! No storage space in the bathroom. No stool, no cupboard, nothing. Only a toilet, sink, shower. No space for towels or anything else. Sorry, even though overall it was very clean, I can't recommend it or give it a good rating. It HAS to be the time to provide proper bed linen. You can see in the photos that the bed was also very carelessly made. I would advise the operators to visit other hotels in Regensburg (or somewhere else) so that they might see the difference for themselves.

Completely solid hotel for a reasonable price. Check it absolutely quickly and easily.The only drawback is that you absolutely have to wear oropax, you can really hear everything and every step.Just right for short stays.

Nice hotel, rooms clean, only the ventilation system in the bathroom causes various smells (cigarette smoke) to come into the room. Not so pleasant. If the window is open and the bathroom door is OK, the ventilation system in the bathroom always works.

Small, fine hotel! Breakfast is international, special requests are fulfilled immediately. The rooms are small but special. We were here as a couple - great!We are repeat offenders!This time we are cycling travelers at the Hotel Platin.Nice reception, quick, uncomplicated check-in. Clean, stylish rooms. Unfortunately there is no longer breakfast, but there is a coffee/tea and drinks machine.We always come here

The friendly staff compensates the small room, bizarre design, no elevator, and an 'interesting' location. Staying one night is fine though. I guess it is a good value for your money in comparison to other hotels. The staff actually goes an extra mile to please you.

This was the first hotel where you could test the bed.We only stayed 1 night but had a great time.We didn't know about the Wyrlpool in the room either, but it was great.The facilities could be improved and the hotel could also be made visible as it is difficult to see from the main roads.Otherwise, dear nice woman who welcomed us.
