We are now at home because we always stay here when we go to Bayreuth for the Wagner festival. Family run and very hospitable. Excellent breakfast with cold cuts of their own production because they also have a butcher's shop. Convenient for Bayreuth as it is only 6km away. Very spacious rooms. They do not have air conditioning but a fan. You can also dine at Lori's. I recommend it very much.Guja from Pavia

We stayed in the country inn with our bikes for a week. The country inn is 5 minutes from the train station. The welcome was super warm. The room was just right. The cleaning fairy's service was brilliant, she made our beds fresh every day (completely remade once), towels were changed daily without asking, the room was vacuumed and the bathroom wiped every day, the water bottle was changed several times free of charge. The in-house butcher shop is friendly, loving, clean and so delicious. Thursday to Sunday the country inn has its kitchen open, super delicious beer and with the food you can taste the love of the cook and the in-house butcher shop and preparation. The daily breakfast buffet is a perfect start to the day (coffee, various eggs, cereal, fruit, juices, cheese plate, sausage plate, jams, rolls and bread). You can feel the warmth of the family everywhere in the family business. We wish the Friedrich family all the best and love, please keep it up. Best regards

Four of us had dinner in this country inn on August 15, 2024. Shocked!!!! Price increase of 23/24 a whopping 30%, but the portions were also reduced. We left the table hungry! Once and never again. Greed now rules here! Very unfortunate!

We were there on August 15, 2024 with 4 people.Service was friendly. But that was it. We had 1x grill plate for 19€. Shockingly small portion for so much money. When we asked, they explained to us that it was a total of 200g of meat. Then we had 2x fillet steak with pepper cream sauce for proud 27€ per portion.200g instead of medium rare.The sauce was greasy like pudding.Only the natural cutlet was ok.Conclusion 4 people 120 € and didn't get full. We asked to speak to the boss. Unfortunately, no one came.We won't be coming back.

My single room was in the style of the 60s/70s. Cleanliness and condition was ok but could have been better.A very good location! Directly at the train station with connections to Bayreuth, Kulmbach and Hof and in a quiet location despite its location at the railway crossing.Staff very friendly.Price performance absolutely perfect.

Typical country inn with simply furnished rooms. Everything is well maintained and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and always puts you in a good mood. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant very well, the selection at the breakfast buffet was plentiful! There are plenty of parking spaces, the garage is sometimes cleared for motorcycles, and bicycles can be stored.

We went on a long weekend motorcycle vacation here and I can only recommend the Landgasthof Friedrich. There was a garage available, the food (reservations strongly recommended!) is very good, and the staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are clean, unfortunately only a few have a balcony and in my room the shower cubicle was pretty dilapidated, it was difficult to get it to work properly. Breakfast with products from our own butcher shop and homemade jams and cakes is also recommended.
