Better go somewhere else. And check your reservation. Often nothing works!Reserved 6 months ago. Called 1 week in advance and couldn't find a reservation. Now I have to pay 40€/per night MORE.An acquaintance had supposedly booked 2 rooms on the website instead of one. (No she didn't!)Room: Depressive dark green as wall color and furnishings.Positive: Comfortable pillows.Bathroom: no water pressure. Just a potent gutter. That's what I expect from a campsite. Not at 120€/night.Breakfast: complete basic...Would only go here if it was cheaper than other hotels nearby. And check reservation.

Right at the train station, but quiet and safe. Parking options right next door in the parking garage (€3 discount from the hotel) and very good prices. Highly recommended.

As a married couple you want a double bed and not 2 single beds in a 2-bed room. The bathroom is also very small so that two people cannot stand at the sink at the same time. The staff at the breakfast area is very nice and accommodating!

Our experience at the Rugs hotel was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Already at check-in we had the first problem: they told us that they did not accept cash payments, even though we only had liquid money. No one had told us in advance that they didn't accept cash, and it wasn't written anywhere. This forced us to call a friend in town to pay with his card. We felt bullied and made fun of, because we could have avoided all this if we had been informed earlier. We booked as a couple, but were given a room with single beds. Although they promised to change our room the following Monday and give us a double bed, this never happened. No one deigned to warn us or to respect the promise made.During our stay, by mistake, we made a small hole in the plasterboard wall (as seen in the photo). We immediately informed the staff, but were completely ignored. They asked us for €500 to repair damage which was absolutely not worth that amount, considering the small size of the hole. It can happen in a hotel that something can break, perhaps by moving suitcases or due to a mistake, but the hotel's reaction was completely disproportionate. They wanted us to pay immediately, but we didn't have the card and we suggested sending the money via Western Union, which would allow us to have the money within 24 hours. We were going to be there for another 3 days, so there was time. However, the manager insisted on immediate payment, without listening to any of our proposals. Nobody responded to the situation, nobody listened to us. I felt cheated and robbed! Also, one of the most embarrassing incidents was when one of the housekeeping maids came into the room while I was in the bathroom. Not only did she not even apologize, but we couldn't even communicate because I don't speak German and she didn't speak English. It was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life and an incredible invasion of my privacy. As if that wasn't enough, the room was in terrible condition: the bathrooms were dirty, there was mold in the shower, and the bathroom door didn't close properly, nor did the wardrobe doors. The beds? No comment, I've had back pain for a week after sleeping there! We are aware that we caused the damage to the wall, but paying €500 for such a small hole was theft. In total, our stay cost €595, to which this €500 was added for damage which, honestly, was absolutely not worth that much. We spent more money on the hotel than on the entire holiday!Overall, our experience was terrible. A nightmare from start to finish, with unempathetic staff and no desire to meet customer needs. We will never return to this hotel and will not recommend it to anyone
