Since our hotel reservation coincided with Oktoberfest, the prices in all hotels were quite high. I chose this hotel because we wanted to stay there with my family. Honestly, this hotel exceeded my expectations. It's in a good part of town and easy to get to. The underground car park is particularly practical - while other hotels charge 40-50 euros per night, we only paid 8 euros here.The hotel was very clean and tidy. The reception was staffed 24 hours a day. Although the furniture was a bit older, everything was clean and well-maintained. When I say “older” I mean that it is a traditional hotel, not a modern one. Nevertheless, our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast wasn't particularly extensive, but for me it was completely sufficient and satisfactory.In summary, I can absolutely recommend this hotel, especially for those who want to stay in a good hotel at a fair price. I have stayed in much more expensive hotels in Munich, but have rarely been as satisfied as I was here. So if you want to stay in a comfortable hotel without breaking your budget, this hotel is definitely a great choice.

We checked in for four days and came for the Adele concert💎 We booked the suite and were very satisfied!! The staff at the reception were always friendly and helpful. Just as we were leaving, he was very accommodating and offered to leave the car in the underground car park and check out in peace and quiet. The room was more than sufficient for our purposes and we would always come back even if the noise from the street was a minus point!! Thank you very much, we had a pleasant stay. A small note on the side: the air conditioning in the large dining room was set very high so that could be worked on. Otherwise, thank you, maybe see you next time.

We have gone from Friday to Sunday and the truth is that it has been a very good option. All the staff are very friendly. Once in the room it was spacious, super clean and the beds were comfortable.We had breakfast included in the reservation, this was my favorite part, there was a lot of food to choose from, all super hygienic and of good quality.Another plus point is that you can have complimentary coffee, tea and pastries at the reception, this is at a certain time but it is quite broad.I consider that the hotel has a very good location, next to it there is a restaurant and several other shops around it.Without a doubt, it is a great option for your stay in Munich, I will definitely repeat.

Super grumpy receptionist, who really didn't feel like it. Run it 3 times to park the car. (No explanation) The rest of the room is old and dated, breakfast was good but minimal and finished. The hotel is in a bit of a ghetto, tip drive through 👍

Upon arrival a very grumpy lady behind the reception desk. Couldn't find any explanation. Indicated that we drive an electric car and wanted to put it in the garage. Instead of immediately giving us the required chip, she made us walk/ask for it separately again after an 11-hour journey that should have taken 7 hours due to traffic jams. Definitely not a business card for the hotel.

we booked this hotel on booking, because the services written on the description looked fine, but it wasn't like the description at all.a not really cleaned room without air conditioning or a minibar, not even a mosquito net at the window; some blots on the moquette. the bathroom at least was ok, not deep cleaned but it wasn't dirty like the room, but we weren't even able to use the safe as it had a dirty cotton bud in it.the beds were the only thing I'd save, they didn't look that bad except for one with a blot on the sheet.it's not really close to the city center but at least it's not far from the S-Bahn station.last but not least, they tried charging us a service nobody told us, we booked with a little dog, and three different receptionists saw him during the check in and didn't say anything about him, they told us about the price of the parking spot but nothing about the dog; and during the check out they tried to charge us 10 euros due to him without telling us anything.we tried to talk about it politely with the manager but he replied in a very rude way, chasing us away and inviting us to never return...and we surely won't, don't worry at all

I absolutely cannot understand the good reviews. With the attached photos you can't speak of a feel-good feeling. Four of us had the family room and we all slept poorly.Rooms unbelievably dirty, bathroom dirty, broken... tram right next door, windows leaking so endless noise. Hotel generally noisy. We just wanted to use it as a stopover, we didn't even want to use it because, in addition to all the hassle, the pillows were an absolute disaster. The bathroom and toilet were so dirty that it was really disgusting.Shabby.What I don't understand at all:Jacobs machine in the breakfast room with a fully automatic look but with instant coffee - you have to want that... and whether it is really cheaper than cheap beans is also questionable...Generally stuffy and shabby atmosphere. Old carpets complete the bad first impression.Positive:Staff at reception nice and helpful. Charge free of charge at one station in the underground car park.

Perfect when you are passing through, great that you can check in late at night. Nice staff and comfortable beds. Affordable and a big plus for the parking lot where you also have the option to recharge the car when you are free for a reasonable cost. Recommended

Unfortunately dirty drains in the bathroom and sink, water doesn't drain, bathtub leaks. Bed very hard, but everyone likes it. Street side loud, disco from the shisha bar opposite with loud music and lasers until late into the night. Other side noise from the train.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good! There was a variety of delicious delicacies.The rooms are very comfortable. Particularly noteworthy are the cheap parking options: just €4 for the parking lot and €8 for the garage - that's really a great offer!Although the hotel may not be an architectural masterpiece, it impresses with its coziness and functionality. There is also an elevator, which makes your stay even more pleasant.The location is ideal, with a quick and easy connection to the S-Bahn, so you can easily reach the city center, the airport and the main train station.A special feature of the hotel is the excellent manager, Mr. Fusenig. He is extremely polite and competent and radiates positive energy. We were particularly impressed by how friendly and respectful he is with his team - a true role model and team player!Overall: All in all, our stay was simply wonderful.

I stayed at the Amber Econtel Hotel Munich with my family from July 25th to 28th, 2024. On July 27th, 1000 euros were stolen from our hotel room while we were having breakfast. There was no camera recording on the 2nd floor so we had no way of knowing who was in our room at that time. The hotel management couldn't help us and they didn't take any responsibility. I would like to warn the guests who want to stay in this hotel. Be careful and don't leave your money in the room. We thought we would be safe in the hotel, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.
