We had a great stay at Luwak Estate Villa. The villa is magnificent, very comfortable, with a private swimming pool ideal for relaxing. The staff is friendly and always attentive. We particularly enjoyed the floating breakfast directly at the villa, a unique and pleasant moment. The massages offered are also of high quality. In short, an experience that we highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Luwak Ubud Villas. We stayed in a two bedroom villa with our children. The stand out was the friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was ever a trouble and they offered great tips for day tours and activities.The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and the gardens and pool were amazing.The breakfast was lovely and the staff accommodated to my daughterβs allergy.The only downside was that during our stay there was construction at the main pool/deck area of the complex and the deck was unsafe and not blocked off.

Thank you for a very pleasant stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The birthday cake with lit candles accompanied by no less than six staff singing π΅ was a highlight!!The restaurant was excellent.All our needs were met with courtesy and a smile.

We had a terrible time at this villa and absolutely do not recommend staying here. Here are several reasons to avoid this place:1. Horrible smell: Upon entering the bathroom, we were greeted by a strong smell of mold mixed with chlorine. It was unbearable.2. Dirt and unsanitary conditions: The room was disgustingly dirty. There were feces, presumably from lizards or other animals, on the floor and table. Towels were full of holes, and the pillows were too large and hard.3. Condition of the furniture: The bed was terrible, the curtains were torn and dirty, and the sun loungers were covered in mold, making them unpleasant to touch. The sofas were burned with cigarette holes and stained.4. Kitchen: The kitchen was filthy. The stove, microwave, and refrigerator were in terrible condition, and it was unpleasant to touch them, with hands sticking to the surfaces.5. Bathroom: The toilets and sinks were in awful condition, clearly not cleaned for many years.6. Road noise: The villa is surrounded by roads on both sides, and the noise was unbearable. In the living room, the noise of cars was constantly heard as the road is right outside the windows, and it was impossible to sleep in the bedroom due to continuous traffic. We tried to sleep but woke up both nights due to the loud noise of mopeds and cars driving all night. On the second night, we woke up at four in the morning because of especially loud mopeds and couldnβt get back to sleep.7. Construction work: There are unfinished construction works near the villa. The construction site is completely unprotected, and it is absolutely unsafe for children. No safety measures are provided, making this place even more dangerous.8. Smell and mold in the rooms: The rooms themselves had an unbearable moldy smell. The paintings on the walls were covered in mold, making the stay even more unpleasant.The only good things were the friendly and caring staff and the very good restaurant. However, this does not make up for the other awful conditions of the stay.We are very disappointed with our stay. I do not recommend anyone to stay here β it is a true test of nerves and patience. If you value your health and peace, avoid this villa.I hope this helps.

First I have to say the staff is fantastic - kind, helpful, enthusiastic and thoughtful. That made the stay there 5 stars. The design of the rooms and buildings is really lovely and we will be staying here again. We had a group of people staying with us and they also raved about the stay. Thank you for the awesome week! Book your stay here now! We had the 2 bedroom, garden villa and it was amazing during our stay here. From the moment we arrived, Arya and his team warmly greeted us and helped us with our luggage. They also helped us deliver our luggage to our room while we prepared for our romantic dinner as a part of the honeymoon package. They have a local circle K across the street that made it easy to grab some items that we may have left behind. I also like how they have a big water jug so you can be hydrated wherever you go.My partner and I had a pretty tight schedule and stay there. We didn't get a chance to eat breakfast as their local restaurant and the morning and so Arya kindly offered to pack us a breakfast box- pastries, water, and some fruits- every morning so we didn't go hungry on our tours and photoshoot.They had an amazing service every day and had a lot of small touches that made me and my partner feel very welcomed during our stay. For instance, my partner didn't want to the massage as a part of our package and they were willing to extend my massage to 2 hours to make up for it.The only possible downsides for the stay is the bugs in the hotel (which would have been unavoidable where ever you stayed in Bali due to the way their hotels are built in the area), a little bit of mold in the bathroom due to the high humidity in Bali, and the slippery floor from the shower. But other than that, I have been more than satisfied with the service and hospitality at the villa. I would also plan for about 1.5 to 2 hour commute from the Denpasar airport to the villa due to the local roads and traffic. Also, their kitchen didn't have any utensils or plates so will need to plan accordingly if you want to cook.

Review of my stay.I checked in yesterday i.e. 23rd May and from the time of check in the AC in the 02 rooms out of 03 bedroom private pool villa is not working. My was unique villaWe are complaining from past 02 days but they are not taking it seriously.They got a technician today but of no use.The whole day my travel agent from Mumbai and myself have been in continuous touch but at the end of the day the problem is not fixed and there is no one senior who can attend our issue and solve it.In breakfast they provide only 01 item. For example if you are having Fried Rice you cannot have Noodles and if you are having tea you cannot have fruit juice.We tried to accommodate last night i.e. 23rd night as they said the AC will be repaired and we didn't checkout.We asked for Refund and they agreed but they are not ready to email it to my agent that we will refund the amount.Ms. Pushpa the reservation manager and Mr. Kanak the receptionist both were looking into the problem. My agent is in contastant touch with this 02 and asked to resolve the problem but nothing is fixed.PS don't book this hotel at any cost and don't fall for the trap of the good reviews you read here.Attaching above the screenshot of the number of calls my agent made to sort the problem.

This place is beautiful, our villa was stunning with a very nice pool, good AC. Just a beautiful place to stay. The food was incredible 10/10. But what made it most special was the exceptional staff and service. Everyone went above and beyond and so kind. Arya and Agung made our stay and our time in Ubud very special. Excellent place to stay and fantastic customer service. Thank you!
